Anyone listen to the full quote/interview. What does, "maybe put a little MORE attention on myself than I needed to..." mean? Should I be worried?
He put too much pressure on himself. Little bit too much nervous. You guys think about jaylen always in a bad ways.
But why? You really think an organization like the Celtics, driven by Stevens and his democratic offense and so on give that contract to a selfish player?
Mazzulla said when JB playes with that tempo and mindset we are a better team.
He playes D, he got rebound.
Limiting TO and shoot FT to his normal 75% and we are ok.

I get the impression that Luke is a gentle guy who happens to have been born to grow 7 feet tall. And it's genuinely taken a long time for him to learn how to be a bully. Partly because all his past coaches have encouraged him to be a stretch big.

Every time he muscles through guys, to catch a pass or stuff the ball, he almost seems surprised at himself.

Not really. He finally realized that he’s 7’1 and should stop doing the Dirk Cosplay.

Tbf Kornet in his 1st two seasons shot 12 threes per 100 and made like 36% so maybe he should start shooting more threes.

Al Horford played 23 minutes last night. Great news for all Celtics fans. Keep Big Al fresh!

The Heat team that took the court last night must be the single worst team that Tatum has ever played in the playoffs.

There kind of was, Brad has always told everyone how much he likes Kornet the player.

Huge swaths of posters here proceeded to ignore that for some reason, my guess would be people were mad he wasn’t vintage TimeLord or something.

Not even Denver can beat this Celtics team with this version of Derrick White.

2019 Pacers is a strong contender.

Dug into Tatum’s shooting numbers in the series, was interesting.

0-3 feet: 80%
3-10: 33%
10-16: 46%
16-3PT: 50%

Pull-up threes: 37%
C&S threes: 18%

This is while going against Spo/Bam, and seeing three guys anytime he put the ball down. He didn’t force it, he didn’t turn the ball over, and had a team best +25.7 on/off.

I cannot describe how primed those numbers are for positive correction where it matters. Dude is about to go the **** off.

wow had totally forgotten that series! That Pacers team was forgettable: Myles Turner, Bogdanovic, uhm... Sabonis off the bench(!). Tyreke Evans. Darren Collinson filling in for an injured Oladipo.

The Heat last night were mostly a summer league/preseason opponent. Time to get on to some actual business!

Jaylen Brown meanwhile finishes the 5-game series with -30.8 on/off. Offense is 22 points /100 possessions worse with Jaylen. Defense is 8.8 points /per 100 worse with Jaylen.
