I voted White but both Jaylen and Luke deserve it as well. We basically brought our “B” game today and still won by 25. Good thing it was against the trash Cavs. I’d like to see us play a little more consistently going forward and Tatum needs to find his offense before the Finals.

Good win considering we were nowhere near our best. White/JB get the cigar. Hoping for a bounce back for JT in Game 2. He's gotta get easier looks going forward. His pull up three is not falling and that one legged, contested midrange jumper DAMN sure isn't falling.

Hauser 0/1 shooting, 1 rebound, 16 minutes, +22. Even his cardio has elite impact on the game

And the one shot was in garbage time.

In his first stint he was +15 in 7 minutes with no other stats at all.

He was drilling the pull-up three in the Heat series, so hoping tonight was just a rust game with that. I believe he’s now at around 12% on catch and shoot threes so far lol.

JB smokes it all day, White gets a few puffs and our bench was filthy. PP and Korny were huge?! Is this a summer league game, somebody pinch me! crazy improvement with these two over the past few years. Only disappointment was JT settling for bad shots, timid, and just taking a back seat all game long. Hoping for a better game 2 for Tatum he’s due!

This is the playoffs and talking about 20-point leads like it's nothing is just ridiculous.

The Cs are just on another level.

Yeah, sure the Heat were bad and this Cavs team is also bad, but the Cs took care of business early.

So now there's a rule that says we have to be up 20 early in the game every time we face a bad team? :lol:

I don’t see any reason to be concerned. Unless you expect him to keep shooting under 15% on catch and shoot threes, after a career’s worth of being over 40% on them. He was shooting 80% within 3 feet coming into today, and missed a few easy looks. He shot 37% on pull-up threes against Miami, so I’m not going to worry about that because he went 0-3 on them tonight.

It’s not a Tatum “breakthrough”, it’s correction to the mean lol.

I mean, he’s one of the best catch and shoot guys in the league. His pull-up returned this season, so I just can’t get myself to be concerned over him missing open shots through 6 games.

But everyone worries about different things.
