Victory Cigar & Post Game Thread - Boston-Memphis 1/4/08

I don't normally start these, but wanted to chime in for KG tonight.

KG: 7-10 FG, 9-10 FT, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 0 turnovers, 1 Foul, 1 block, 33 min, 23 pts.

PP: 9-17 FG, 4-5 FT, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 2 turnovers, 3 fouls, 39 min, 23 pts.

TA: 8-15 FG, 2-3 FT, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 1 turnover, 4 fouls, 26 minutes, 20 pts.

I voted for Kevin Garnett. 23 points on 10 shots, AMAZING, especially with the contribution on defense.

And Tony was phenomenal tonight.

And I fully appreciate the magnitude of the effort Paul Pierce put in with 23, 10 and 5.

It has to be Tony. He turned the game around when the team was sluggish. Not KG this time.

Tony is back! 8)

I went with KG. I could have gone with Tony. Both played good games.

TONY! TONY! TONY!

i am really liking how he was able to finish consitently without having to dunk the ball or jump over people tonight. it shows he has learning to cope better with the injury, he is learning.

Tony Allen, if he can get his game back to the point where he can be a consistent threat going to the basket it'll really diversify the way our bench can score, already we have outside shooting and hustle scoring for us off the pine along with some timely cuts from Posey, but TA is the only back-up who can just put his head down and get to the rim. ****, never mind back-ups, when Tony is on he's got a knack for getting to the rim in traffic whether getting hit or not that has got to be in the upper echelon in the league (sounds crazy, but I really believe it). Hopefully this game snowballs into some confidence for him (he certainly looked confident out there), his decision making should benefit.

Tony completely turned this game around.
His defense was good too, along with his driving to the basket.
