This is the type of game where you need to use Pollard and Scals early on--Doc went to Big Baby first in the last Pistons game--he stunk up the joint because he was so nervous...The vets can play some defense and bang against some of Detroit's big guys.

On an OT tip, anyone else watching the Skins/Seahawks? 13-0 I walk away for a few minutes suddenly they're up 14-13 and have just recovered a fumble deep in Seahawks territory?

maybe baby was nervous, but the impression I got was Big Baby was feeling he was coming into his own (i forget how he had been doing leading up to the game, but obviously good enough to earn some minutes) and I thought he was trying to be a playmaker out there doing dribble-drives and passes that kept resulting in cheap turnovers. Actually, this has been my only qualm with Glen Davis, he doesn't seem to want to be a bench player that goes in and D's up, boards, and plays D (actually he probably just doesn't know his role) but instead tries to be an Antoine Walker Point-Forward clone when he's at his worst.

I actually want me some scals tonight since I don't think Pollard/perk can really stick with sheed on the perimeter shooting uncontested threes all night.

if Scals would just stick to guarding his man,and quit with trying to be Magic Johnson with the ball-he's very valuable.
