The MOST impressive aspect of the win..... NONE of our big three were anywhere CLOSE to being good offensively, but our bench CARRIED us. Baby was majestic, TA was big, House made big shots, so did Posey and a BIG offensive board ...Kudos to the bench... I wonder if those idiots will still say we have 'no bench'....

That's what scares me. We may not have much left for the finals.

Good point. But whatever Western team the Cs might play would likely be in the same boat, as a Dallas/San Antonio or Phoenix/San Antonio series would probably be a knock-down drag-out battle too.

Pierce once again shows his passing in the clutch. Against Houston, he had the behind his back to Garnett in the perimeter and this game he and Big Baby were tight together.

Wow Celts, you guys played well, killed us on the boards and that Glen Davis is a very good finisher under the basket...

See you guys in March!

As happy as I am with this team, I still think they need to get Ray Allen more involved. Too often he goes long stretches without touching the ball. And I never want to see Tony Allen bringing the ball up. If he is playing with Pierce and Allen, let one of them bring it up.

ray allen is a rythm shooter he needs a lot of shots to get into the groove. on this team that is not gonna happen. he's used to 20+ shots a game.

Nice win. Would have sucked to lose because the c's do not play again until Wednesday.

his shots are off at this point. he's just struggling. he'll get to his scoring in no time. he really wasn't playing that well after he rested for a couple of games.

How about this idea. Instead of leaving Pierce out with the second team, which Doc has been doing, why not put Ray Allen out there? He could be the main shooter for a 5-8 minute stretch, and get in rhythm.

I guess the downside would be that his health seems to be the most fragile of the Big Three, so that's one of the reasons that they are probably trying to rest him.

Good game Celts.

I'm not even going to comment on the crap that has been said on this board and the Pistons one.

See you later. ;)

Well, I admit that my heart was in my mouth for three and a half quarters, but what a thrilling final few minutes that was.
Glen Davis is a hero tonight, and Pierce right up there too. In fact, to all the people who said at the beginning of the season that this team lacks depth, I hope they were watching --- this game answered that one quite nicely.

That comment about Big Baby being a Special Olympic player on the Pistons board was a bit too low. :nonono:
