Time for Brian Scalabrine to get his victory cigar.

22 points, 8 dimes, 7 boards, 3 blocks, 1 confident smile.

WTB, I don't think we will rock the Classic Jerseys. Dickerson said on December 7 that we're going to wear it a total of 4 times, and the game at L.A. was the 4th time.

As for the game, I hope we get lucky and beat the Pistons. That's all I have to say.

We played poorly against HOU and MEM. Rondo is really struggling and his mid range jumper is off.

We need to play much, much better in order to have a chance in DET. Pistons are in unbelievable form and we need to bring our A game if we want to beat them!

Go, Celtics!

Pistons are the better team at the moment but I think that comes down to experience and time spent together.

We need to win this game, if we were to play them in the Conference Finals we wouldn't want to be going in not being able to beat them in the regular season.

Celtics have not looked good against what can be considered sub par teams the past 2 games. Right now the c's look tired.

My Prediction:

The Celtics suffer their first 10 point plus loss of the season as the pistons are a better team.

IMO, Rondo is the X factor. He sucked in last nights game. Ray Ray sucked too, but you know Ray will bounce back. Rondo looked lost kinda like TA earlier in the season. If Rondo bounces back, and has a good game, it will be competitive, and be close, with us having a good chance for revenge, but if Rondo plays like he did last night, it will still be competitive because of the Big Tree, but we will not win.

this game SHOULD be on national tv, but its not. boooo! the best matchup all season long will be boston-detroit. every game should be televised.

this will be a HUGE game for us. if we lose, once again we'll have to put up with everyone criticizing us, AND detroit will be even closer to us in the standings. right now, arent they 2 1/2 games back?!?!? thats crazy with our fast start.

GO CELTICS!!!!! play smart, with control and fire.

I'm looking forward to a good game, but not a good looking game as Comcast still hasn't come into the 21st century with road game in HD, meaning the game will look like crap on my tv. It is quite embarrassing to the Celtics in my opinion that their flagship station is so cheap.

Pistons are on fire right now, and they are looking very good, so they are probably the favorites to beat the Celtics in this game. However i really don't care. This is a regular season game. The Pistons are not going to keep playing like this all year, and it looks as though they may have peaked a little too early. They are a very good basketball team, but not as good as they have been playing during their winning streak.

I hope the guys can stay calm and keep a good focus, and not get thrown off no matter what is happening. Play with passion. Play hard. Believe.
I also hope my man Rondo can gather his energies, put last night well behind him, and play at his best --- which is very impressive indeed and gives the team a real boost.
The Pistons are so cool and so tough and so united after all these years that this one is certainly the big challenge.
I believe the Celtics can win this if they're in peak form.

In hindsight, this game means absolutely nothing to both teams. But, both fans bases would love a win. This should be another contested game, can't wait.

Yeah I'm back after my suspension for "trolling". This game mean a great deal, because if you want to be considered the best you have to beat the best.

At least both teams are coming off a back2back plane-ride game.

Yeah. But we traveled all the way from Memphis, Detroit had like a 15 minute bus ride.
