It's Martin Luther King Day (a holiday). That's the reason for those unusual tip-off times.

First thing I would like to know is who has MLK day off? If you work in the bank or for the government, that is the only people I know who have it off.

Celtic's by 15. You WILL see lots os Scal and Powe.

I don't have to work and I don't work for either. I'm surprised most people you know have to work. It's just the opposite for me, most people I know don't have to work today.

Edit: C's by 25. 8)

They cant defend Garnett, and can only defend one of allen or pierce, we win by 12.

Haha, it's funn that you mention cheeseburgers. I was at the preseason Knicks game in Boston. Every time Curry or Zach were at the line, right before they shot the ball, I screamed cheeseburger. I got Zach to miss 3 straight. While I appreciate the attempt at humor Spin, I think that the cheeseburgers are forimidable to the Knicks' front line.

Celtics by 20.

Edit: I'm working today. Most people I know are working too.

Well, I certainly don't expect a blowout as some of you do. These games are always tough, regardless of the opponent. NBA players like to sleep late. 1pm starts mess with their routine. And these guys are all about routines.

I'm at work going home at noon. I think this game is going to be a lot tougher than people think. The Knicks will be fired up because of the 45 point loss to the Celtics. Problem is the Knicks can't play defense and the Celtics can. Celtics win by 7.

i agree with canman. when i used to play, i hated tournaments that were in the morning or early afternoon, so i can imagine how much nba players hate it.

i'm not expecting a blow out. the knicks have been playing good as of late & i suspect they'll try a lil harder than last time & try & get some revenge after they were laughed off the court last time.

is randolph playing?

We really could use Pollard for this game. If he's not healthy I don't think it'll be a blowout.

KG can do okay agaisnt Randolph, and I think Baby can handle his own if he just realized he's out there to be in the way of Randolph and not make him miss.

Curry though, I only want Perk/Pollard to guard him really. I guess Baby could do alright against Curry too

Of course, the game is on NBATV HD, but since I am in New England I am sure it will be blacked out. Anyone have any update on road games in HD? They said sometime this year.

No idea, just heard Tommy say it.

BTW, Donny has been hilarious on the pre-game show! A couple thoughts on Jermaine O'Neal...

On JO's bruised knee and him contemplating sitting out then rest of the year:

"What kinda bruise...did he fall out of a plane?!?! Like what kind of bruise could end your season? In my mind, if this guy was traded to the Lakers, he would not be having these issues. And this is another phrase you can use, he's got 'I'm on the Indiana Pacers and we're losing-itis."

Perk has 11 of our 13 points so far. Very nice.

EDIT: Make that 15 points for him now and only halfway through the 1st.
