If Anthony Johnson gets cut from Sac Town he'd be a guy worth lookin at for the Celts.

Still hate the jersey change...

I too think the new jerseys suck.

We could possibly get Anthony Johnson or Tyron Lue out of this deal pretty easily.. its a good situation to keep an eye out on.

Yeah, Sacto is probably gonna cut one of them. I'm hoping it's AJ but either one would be a good pickup.

i was thinking the same thing.. lorenzen too. he would be a decent backup big.. buyouts?? hopefully.... wow, so essentially (and i love our team) but had we not made our moves this summer and stayed pat we could have acquired gasol and bibby around the deadline.. hmmm i am happier with our moves but that is interesting..

bibby/rondo
pp/house
posey/ta
al/leon
gasol/perk

hmmm but our mix is better imo

lol @ lebron now. i bet he's p'd. they got bibby for practically nothing.

thats all the hawks have needed for bout 3 years now, a solid PG, to make the playoffs. their a young, athletic, quick team, & now add a clutch playmaker like bibby & thatll improve them greatly.

I am merging this with the other Bibby to ATL thread

It seems like only yesterday the Kings were getting screwed in the '02 WCF. Now they're basically the Pacers of the West.

If the Kings also trade Artest for multiple players the Kings wont have any choice but to cut these guys so it should be an interesting week or so ..

If I am correct, the Kings have 13 players on their roster and they are acquiring 4 more guys. We know Sheldon isn't going to be cut, so out of Lorenzen Wright, Anthony Johnson, and Tyrone Lue, two of them will be cut.

or 2 guys who are already on the kings roster, or 1 of eac. Dahntey Jones and quincy douby are both possibiliteis to be cut as well. Of course I would lover for Wright or Mohomed to get cut but i doubt thats what happens

As per this article, Justin Williams and old friend Dahntay Jones were cut earlier today.

Justin Williams might be worth a look. He's not a good offensive player, but he's an incredible shot blocker and is great on the glass because of his long arms. He averaged 5.4 blocks a game in college, and was a 4 year player, which Danny seems to like.

If Lue is cut loose the Celtics will pick him up. That's (nearly) a guarantee- provided they think they can't get Cassell.

I wrote about this before- Doc and Lue love each other. They are very close from their Orlando days.

A side note: Lue is one of the guys who convinced KG to come to Boston.

hopefully they get a pick or 2 as well, otherwise that really sucks for the Kings.

Another side note, I just drank too much delicious Evan Williams straight Bourbon Whiskey. God bless the good people of Kentucky.

Now apparently Sacto is in discussions with the Nuggs on an Artest for Nene trade. That trade would be great for Sacto.
