I like him going to SA. Any team Ron Ron goes to they usually get worse. IND was the rare exception. Maybe Popovich can control him, I don't think so but who knows for real.

Spurs could go small ball with:

C Duncan
PF Artest
SF Bowen
SG Manu
PG Parker

If they didn't who do you think would come off the bench? Could it be Bowen?

I wouldn't be suprised if Pop left our starting line up as :

C Oberto
PF Duncan
SF Bowen
SG Finley
PG Parker

Then have our secondary:

C Horry
PF Udoka
SF Artest
SG Manu
PG Stoudamire

this is freaking great news. the spurs always play ball the right way, good hard nosed defense. i can't wait to see them destroy the suns again.

This is actually a beast of a deal for SA. From what I have seen of SA Bruce Bowen is kind of finished and at the same time Finley has kind of had a resurgence. They slide in Ron Ron at the 3 and bring Manu, Horry, and Stoudamire off the bench and they start looking tough.

Gah... not that again please. Last year gutted me with the suspensions and all (not to mention the game Donaghy allegedly "threw").

Artest to Spurs? I heard Artest to the Nuggets... Imagine how talented the Nuggets will be if they cave and send Kleiza for Artest? Who's more talented position for position than AI-Melo-Artest-Martin-Camby starting 5? There are teams with better players, but not more talent.

Its not that lopsided, Brent Barry is arguably an underrated player who could help Kev Martin develop, Elson helps the Kings in the front court, and Artest could have opted out of his contract end of season anyway.

Scary though. Spurs get better while the Suns/Mavs arguably get worse.

My guess - which is simply a guess, is that Bowen still starts, Artest becomes the sixth man, and Ginobili stays in the starting lineup. Thats what I would do if I were Greg Popovich

man, i love the suns fans and their blatant homerism. watch that tape, amare deserved every foul. he simply cannot defend duncan without fouling him. there is nothing to feal bad about, the same could be said for virtually every other player that has to defend duncan.

thank GOD Ainge went and got the one player in the league that can guard Duncan straight up.

thats right. KG bitches

If its Artest and martin for that crap, the Kings should be run out of the league.

Maybe we need a Poll, which trades were worst for the team trading a start

Kidd
Gasol
Artest
Shaq
Bibby

Any more bad trades I forgot?
