I hate the scheme we run when it comes to rebounds, and even Tommy has mentioned it before. After a shot is taken most of our guys just retreat into defense to prevent fastbreaks (which we were good at during the regular season) but we usually do it on defense (giving up the O boards) as well which I don't get because we don't push the ball up court.
Where were Powe and House in game 3???
I am confident game 4 will be a blow out because ATL can't score like they did in 3 constantly, I mean Smith was making 3's god's sake, we need to lay his ass on the floor every time he goes for the dunk (instead of letting him get his groove) like the Wiz are doing to the Cavs. Man I can't wait for game 4.
You have just been Perk'd!!!

Actually, tough guy, I've been a diehard Celtics fan since I was 6 years old. I've been reading these forums for about 3 years or so, just never posted. I live and die with this team. So don't take it out on me because the Hawks aren't very good. Go back to the Atlanta board. And get mentally prepared for when your team gets worked tomorrow night. Tool.

Seriously, can we exploit the Pierce-Marvin Williams matchup please!! Also, forget about PJ Brown off the bench. Powe and Davis seem like a fine combo to me. You only go to PJ if their length is helping them win the rebounding battle on the boards, but I like Baby and Leon to carve out space down there and own the glass. The second chance points last game were non existent.
The most important part of the game against the Hawks is the first 5 minutes. You saw their eyes light up when Josh Smith was out running and finishing those fast breaks for an early lead. The basket got a lot bigger for him as a result. Kill their will early and pull out to a 14-4 lead or something like that. Feed it into Pierce and KG in the post. Kick it out to Ray or Rajon if they collapse and let Perk do his thing on the boards or with a wide open dunk.
Another thing. Let Rondo loose a little more with the offense like in games 1 and 2. We were taking it out of his hands in game 3 by having him hand it off with 20 on the shotclock in game 3 and he wasn't getting it back.

Won't happen, as Al Horford is starting for the Hawks.
While Horford and Smith certainly are talented, WHAT A COUPLE OF FRONTRUNNERS! Yapping and jumping and acting like they are world champs when they're up, looking like beaten dogs when they're down...LAME!
I cannot wait for the game tonight!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

Those guys were inept, and a wee bit biased...apparently it takes the time it takes for a layup to hit the backboard and then go out of bounds is shorter than 4 seconds (if you saw that Rondo play you know what I'm talking about)

The Celtics got worked in Game 3, I'm not going to lie. Atlanta came out with more energy and probably played their best game of the year. I don't see that happening again especially not in back to back games. The C's will come out hungry tonight and really take it to the Hawks. I'm looking for both Rondo and Ray to have huge games.
I'm still pissed I have to go to the game on Wednesday and watch Atlanta again. I was hoping my next playoff game would be against the Cavs/Wiz.
