They should build a statue for David Stern in Atlanta.

Rondo missed tons of easy shots and what happened to his defense? He's a very good player, but he struggled tonight.

They have to work something out with guarding Joe Johnson because Ray can't do it, yet Doc didn't adjust at all.

Remember, just because people complain, bitch and moan doesn't make them any less of a fan. I have been with this team since 1980 and I hate what I see right now. This team has fans, but they owe it to them to go out and perform, and they are not doing that. That is why we complain. So, for those who want to get together and sing love songs, go right ahead. The rest of us are mad and have every right to be.

Not sure if you're asking me, but, yes, he is a problem.

It is a point guard's job to run the offense and keep the team composed. Rondo has done neither the last two games.

That was embarrassing.

Pierce choked big time- how he could miss a wide open lay up is beyond me.

Allen didn't play any D.

One thing I do have to say though is that Posey has shown himself to hit big 3s all year- good to have a role player like that.

The Celtics need to stop getting nervous, and just play basketball like they have been during the regular season, they are letting the pressure get to them; I really think this is more mental than anything.

what the optimist fail to see, is the celts had a 13 point lead.

and then had a 10 point lead going into the 4th, ray allen single handidly lost this game with that grade school defense, cause even after johnson blew by him, he never manage to get in the air to contest those floaters.

i know the celts are gonna win this series, but why in the blue hell is it still going on?

if doc got fired tomorrow morning, this would only help the team not distract it.

what the hell does play team basketball mean anyways? could he friggin elaborate or what.

Don't be surprised when Tony Allen plays in Game 5.

And I don't know if you can blame Ray Allen for that play where Childress got the off. rebound. He is 32-33 years old and barely sat out all game. Rondo is the one you play for an entire half, not Ray.

Also, when you have a hot hand you have to go to it. What did ray get? 10 shots tonight? I wish we had plays to run for him but we don't. That's just embarrassing.

Boston and Detroit will both have forgotten all about the first round when they meet in the ECF.
Hey you! Can we come together?

I've been asking about this the last 2 games. All of suddenly we became a half court offense.

AND WHY DOES OUR EVERY OFFENSE PLAY HAVE TO GO THRU KG? It is just silly to see everyone trying to feed him the ball even if he is heavily covered. We had absolutely no offense flow.

We played our game and got out exectued.. no OWNED in the fourth by the Hawks.

We went downlow to Garnett repeatedly and he delivered, Posey knocked down threes. But ATL just owned us in every other respect.

I don't blame Doc for this. All you people calling for Tony Allen.. DO YOU REMEBER TONY ALLEN??? Turnover machine that can't stay in front of someone like Joe right now. He may provide some help defense every once in a great while MAY but he's hurt and it sucks but it is what it is.

No, the rotations were right, the roleplayer Posey steped it up the big man Garnett did.. we just were completly shut down. One and out and we could get to the line. ...

I have no idea, I just have no idea

Embarassing.

Now comes the question about Pierce, Allen, and especially KG's ability to win in the playoffs, that will be annoying.

3 game series. Let's see what we got.

ah well, playoffs don't start until someone loses a home game.

Worst, most overrated fanbase in professional sports.

C'mon man. Don't generalize. Some people here may be overreacting, but it's blind homerism if you can't see that this team has some issues. This is the playoffs. Instead of gearing up, this team looks like it has geared down. Aren't you the least bit bothered of the way the team is playing right now?

I probably watched 60-65 regular season C's games and the team won all but 8 or so, and I watched the first 2 wins over the Hawks. Then, I missed a bunch of Game 3 (in Vegas) and was stuck at work tonight and was able to watch only the last few minutes. Clearly I need to START WATCHING THE FRACKING GAMES AGAIN.
