Yeah, no complaining allowed. Losing two games in a row in the first round to a team eight games under .500 is nothing to complain about. Real fans don't get upset over things like that. Real fans, like Atlanta's fans, should just be happy to be watching playoff basketball. Did you see any Atlanta fan ask for Mike Bibby or Joe Johnson to be traded after their first two losses? No, they're real fans. Getting upset over these losses? How appalling!

yeah Tony Allen still sucks last time I checked. Yeah, he plays defense..but I don't want him anywhere NEAR the ball. He's a risk and liability on the offensive side of the floor.

I don't see the Hawks winning in Boston, but yes, we could be.

good game. JJ was unstoppable, that was the difference. that and we couldn't make a damn FT (or get to the line, for that matter).

Nice positive attitude...wish I could share in it. I just see a mentally weak team. Not very encouraging at all.

I don't even know what to say about this game. Where's the ball movement? No one passes. Pierce was jacking 3s all night, no one was cutting, no one was setting good screens etc. The HORRIBLE officiating didn't help, but the Celtics missed like 10+ layups in this game.

Just because the C's are having a problem with Atl it says nothing about a series with Clev or anybody else.....it's about team match ups. The Refs aren't helping matters much the way it's been called and we've been sloppy.
We could still have won both games but we lost the crispness of play. We still should beat this team. 8)

And why does this putz Tanquay have to say , "I know they played hard." blah, blah, blah. Call them out. They played like crap. Plain and simple. Stop with the heavy petting, it is really sad.

I don't know if anyone noticed but the last game of the reg season they were calling Joe Johnson on offensive fouls for using his off hand to push off defenders.. He did it like a thousand times this game! Where was it there?

cavsfan_osiris wrote:Rondo missed tons of easy shots and what happened to his defense? He's a very good player, but he struggled tonight.

They have to work something out with guarding Joe Johnson because Ray can't do it, yet Doc didn't adjust at all.

Rondo was fouled on at least two of those misses, and Smith made a couple of incredible blocks on two others. Take away those four misses and he's at 50%. Defensively, Bibby made only one shot I saw with Rondo on him. As Fratello pointed out repeatedly, and Webber alluded to at halftime, the Hawks realized that Bibby cannot separate from Rondo and used screens the first half to free him. Our bigs provided very poor help on the picks and bibby scored after switches.

At least Tony drives to the hoop. No one on the second unit can say that.

And there was nothing wrong with Rondo's defense tonight.

Ray can't guard JJ one on one. Every one on this friggin board could have told you that and he has the task of guarding him in the fourth quarter of the playoffs. Come on now, Doc.

I've been asking about this the last 2 games. All of suddenly we became a half court offense.

AND WHY DOES OUR EVERY OFFENSE PLAY HAVE TO GO THRU KG? It is just silly to see everyone trying to feed him the ball even if he is heavily covered. We had absolutely no offense flow.

this team is at its beat when rondo penetrates and kicks. PP was invisible and couldn't get a shot the subs were cold. Powe has dissapeared. The only one who helped was Posey

PASSION..Fans with passion are quite terrible I must say. We should all be happy and high-fiving when we lose two games in a row to an 8th seed, and blow a fourth quarter lead in a miserable game.

What do you want? Are we suppose to be happy. Listen, we all know we're going to win this round, but we shouldn't be happy with what's going on right now..considering this will be the LEAST amount of talent we will see in the post season.

Move along.

so disgusted. i dont even know where to begin. doc. god dammit doc

1. play tony allen. he shouldve played in the series allready so that he could have been used on jj
2. tell pierce to slash, dont give him this stupid "dont win it alone" message. thats why he missed the layup, thinking to pass, going to shoot.
3. change matchups. you're an oaf doc. god dam
