sorry guys.......
if the celtics cant win on the road against 37 win team during the reg season ? they are not winning no championship.
I do believe the celtics got the sleeper team of the playoffs, but no excuse, they are not playing defense on the road and should be scared they could lose the series at home.
yes they have killed the hawks at home by big margins, but anything can happen.
either way, it doesnt matter. if they have to go 7 games to beat the hawks, they dont have a prayer at the championship.
garnett should have been getting the ball down low, he gets the calls down there and it would have been overtime. they blew it and potentially the series. nothing has changed in boston or with the celtics. anything less than the east finals is a let down.
pathetic!!!! hand it to the hawks, they got guts. but I will believe it when I see them win in boston. being blown out in boston seems to be what the hawks like the most. maybe they prove me wrong.

That was one of the worst coaching, playing game of basketball I have seen from a team that is supposed to be a contender in my life. Just awful. I am sure they'll win on Sunday, but they should be embarrassed by their defensive effort. Just non-existent. Ever heard of boxing out? Well the Celtics haven't. Just crap.

Well people are in shock. This team has lost 3 of 4 against a 37 win team. Many people expected this to be a sweep and people are upset at what is going on. Yes the celtics have a pretty good shot but anything can happen.
I think what upsets people the most is that out team, who was just about flawless in the regular season, may not be the contender that they showed themseves to be just a few months ago.
If they lose this series this will hands down be the biggest upset in Boston sports history. It should have never ever gotten to a game 7.

as much as i dont want to defend any of the Cs right now, this is a wholly incorrect statement
I have watched the entire series, I see what I see right in front of my eyes, no one can change my perception of Rajon Rondos inability to lead and play the PG position.

horrible game by Rondo
2 questionable calls on pierce made a BIG difference in this game, and his technical added a point which changed the endgame. I'm not sure what he did beyond throwing the headband
Ray went away from what Doc drew up on that last 3, gotta wonder if Doc really has control of his team
KG lost his composure in the middle of the 4th
Doc Rivers has yet to coach in the second round, and with that inspiring "no speech" crap to lead his players into this game I got to wonder if he ever will

If you think Rondo has been losing these games for the team in Atlanta, then you have been watching through a highly biased filter.
An awful lot of factors have gone into it, including the officiating. No one player takes the responsibility --- certainly not Rondo.

Really now? Then why would you say Bibby has been abusing Rondo the whole series? That's as far from the truth as humanly possible.

You know what Kefa I was just saying the same thing.
Does anyone honestly think that the NBA isn't giddy over the fact that the series went 7 games? What do you think the ratings will be for Sunday's game?
Look how crazy the Atlanta crowd has gotten? People will be chomping at the bit to buy tix for next season. They got a real scrappy team that's only going to get a lot better.
I think we'll see the free throw attempts tilt towards the C's on Sunday with us taking the game.....everyone wins.
The C's advance and hopefully realize that winning 66 games doesn't mean you don't have to take every team serious.
Atlanta builds a great fan base for next year and beyond while the NBA can promote some legitimate future stars in Joe Johnson, Al Horford and Josh Smith.
