I'll take JB off my ignore list after:
1)He stops being so freaking reactionary and ESPECIALLY
2)He gets rid of that Elvis tombstone sig (seriously, man...show some respect for The King...wasn't his fault his quack doctor mis-diagnosed him into oblivion)
On another note, I'd love to watch these broadcasts while listening to Grande and Max's commentary, but the delay screws everything up. Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake can kiss my @$$.

I've talked about this with a few basketball geeks over here in RI. And when we lost the 3 in atl, I said, the minute we loose a home game we will win on the road. That once again carried over to the cavs series due to us not loosing at home.
and now that we finally lost a home against the pistons, we will win on the road.

doesn't seem like home has meant that much to these two teams as we just match each other very well.
put TA on Rip, rotate the guards on Billups and pound the ball inside and we can beat them in either house. I said before the series began that we'd each take one on the road and we just need a win tonight to prove my predictive skills.

Pathetic PATHETIC!!! THREAD...
All of you should stop being Celtics fans, if you subscribe to 9 pages of bull..
Celtics will win 17 THIS YEAR...
Sox came back from 3-0, never been done in history. If you dont think the army of Celtics fans, led by a leader in KG, and superstar in Pierce will not get it done, then i'm ashamed of you people...

With that said, lets all be honest, this has been a great year. I know none of us wanted it to end like this, but remember two things...
1.) Its only a game.
2.) None of us can control what happens in the game.
Detroit just proved to be better. But like I said the best year I've watched as a Celtics fan. The Celtics had nothing big for years, this year was big and very exciting...Danny Ainge braught big time basketball back to Boston. And it very well could have led to a title if a couple plays had went different. But thats life.
CONGRATULATIONS! You are a great fan.
I've been a Laker's since the time of Wilt and Jerry. I've been looking forward to having your team "CELTICS" in the finals this year.
I'll be rooting for them tonight.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

congrats, you have just made the most pathetic panic thread in the history of real gm
The Celts lose one game at home, the series is 1-1 and they're done? Huh? That makes absolutely zero sense. And they are truly done after one home loss in the post-season to an inferior team it hasn't been a good season.

it's not good to see fans in this board who are not standing by our celtics. i was so optimistic with a game 3 win and we got it!
one thing that really impressed me with this C's 2008 team is how they respond to pressure and expectations(detroit being the measuring stick in the season and getting 2 of 3, texas triangle sweep). isn't that amazing for a group built in one offseason?
besides it's not easy to have a lot of expectations around you going up against tried and tested quality teams in the playoffs. with those things in mind, i like what i've been seeing in this team so far during the season and especially in the playoffs.
