Maybe. I also think the C's can even the series at 2-2 in game 4, but maybe I'm just being optimistic.

Celtics know that they no longer have the home court to rely on so I think the Celtics will keep the game close until the end. Ultimately the trend of road losses will no doubt continue and I say they lose by 6.

I'd like to point out that we're all good because Jon Barry predicted we would win game 2, and then after losing that game he predicted Detroit would win the series. Wasn't he also the guy who predicted we'd get the #1 lotto pick last year?

It's too bad you're not playing the Hornets... and the Spurs showed they could win on the road in round one against the Suns, who are much better than the Hawks.

Boston needs to come into Detroit and get one of these two games and they'll be in good shape. If they can't, the series is basically over.

I am calling victory. I believe it will go as follows. Game 3 win. Game 4 loss. Game 5 win. Game 6 win.

Or maybe not. Either way I feel the celtics can win on the road. All they need is 1 out of 3 games on the road, if they win at home. I feel they can do that.

This post is all sorts of confusing.

First you compare the current Celtics team to the Spurs, a team that has won 4NBA titles in the past decade.

Then you compare the Hornets to the Pistons, who have won a title, and have been the king of thier conference for 6+years.

Maybe I am seeing it the wrong way?

Not even close.

All the pressure is on Boston.

Boston won 66 games this regular season to get homecourt and that is down gone.

Its a best of 5 series with Detroit having HCA and I know they like their chances.

All the pressure is on Boston to win a road game in these playoffs... Everyone knows they haven't won one yet. Everyone is asking whether or not they can.

Detroit is the underdog. Boston were the favorites to come out of the east going into these playoffs.

Detroit has been there and done that. The Celtics big 3 have never played in an NBA finals game.

The argument of who the pressure is most on is one of the dummest things I've heard. The pressure is on both teams. It doesn't matter who's the favorite or who's the underdog. Who cares. Both teams are 3 wins away from the finals..who cares who the "experts" pick to win. Both teams have the same to gain and to lose. The Hawks were talking about how there was no pressure on them and they had nothing to lose before game 7 and guess what...they got blown out by over 30 points and flat out embarrased.

Do you really think Detroit is feeling the pressure? Sheed was playing the air guitar with a minute left last game. I don't think Detroit has anywhere near the pressure on it that Boston does. Maybe Flip Saunders does. But Boston had one of the best regular seasons in NBA history, and have struggled in these playoffs. They have 3 players who have been career losers who have never even won a conference championship. There is without a doubt more pressure on Boston to win.

Sheed is always like that. He might not care or that might be the way that he releases pressure that doesn't show anything. And you don't think there's pressure on the Pistons? They have been to the ECF 6 times and have only 1 championship to show for it. The core is getting older and like Sheed said, they know that they don't have that much time left. The Pistons have the same to lose as the Celtics. It doesn't matter that the Celtics had 7 more wins during the regular season. That record doesn't count now. Both of these teams are 3 wins away from the finals. Why is there no pressure on the Pistons?
