The Rondo Show wrote:Well that sucked. Detroit gave us every chance to steal this game with their stupid fouls on the perimeter/off ball fouls while they were in the penalty but we couldn't buy a basket. The entire team sucked offensively tonight and despite haning around, we had no one to go to because everyone was so off. Just a brutal offensive (and not a great defensive performance either) performance.
Frustration tonight is not about Detroit. Listened to Max a bit at the end and he thinks the Celtics can take this series no problem -- i actually agree with him.

But the lack of a killer instinct (and the general lack of energy) runs completely against any title team I have seen in my lifetime. It is hard to imagine a team with as poor execution and such poor control over their emotions as Boston ever winning a title. The Bad Boy Pistons, 1980s Celtics or Jordan Bulls would sweep this team -- easily. And I'm worried that even if the Celtics get by the Pistons they face that same humiliation against the Kobes.

Lets see..the Sox and the PAts have won big games...and guess what, both BB and Francona are THE BEST at their positions...Where is Doc as a head coach??? Yeah, that's right.....

I am not a HUGE doc fan, he irks me sometimes, well alot of times when we lose. But, BB, and Francona were both losers of the coaching world as well, before they came to new england.

Well... BB was with the Browns and Francona with the Phillies, bith teams had HORRIBLE talent... This team has ALL the talent...its the coaching and the X's and O's that are pulling this team down. And we dont have a big window either...Doc needs to go.

Before that, the Sox choked every big game they had for almost a hundred years, even the 86 team talked about the negativity and doom and gloom approach of the city getting to them. Before this recent run, the Patriots were massive losers. The Bruins haven't won a title since the 70's, historically the Celtics are really the only consistant winners in Boston.

No, Eddie can't get the ball across half court, Cassell didn't have a bad game.

Both of the franchises had bad management and/or bad mangers/coaches (Esp. the Pats). THe old Sox teams had NO consistent pitching. Clemens was all alone when he was there and then Pedro was the ONLY consistent pitcher before Schilling came on board. This team has terrific management and ownership who have brought in good players. They are just being used so haphazardly this deep in the postseason, it makes no sense.

He got the ball up the court, initiated the offense, and played some decent defence (including a big strip of Stuckey).

Put down the stat sheet and watch the game.

So thats the reason you put in Cassell?

Rightt...like E.House is such a handicap bringing up the ball that you have to bench him.

What about a simple pick on Hunter? FU DOC FOR PUTTING IN CASSELL

the ball should be in pierce's hands if rondo isn't on the court anyway.

and if pierce isn't on the court give it to allen.

Watching that game last night made my eyes hurt. Our offense was nowhere to be found. And I am sure Doc listened to what Cassell had to say about his playing time. That's why he was there for the most part. Someone needs to give him a cup of STFU. I feel like Pierce is the only man out there on the court. He had the balls to call him out and tell him to make a **** play.

Before the season started everyone wanted to get Cassell...well we got him now... watching him play is just too damn painful. Doc needs to give him 10 mins a game and that's it.

AGAIN no matter how good RONDO is our PG sucks big time. Rondo can't be consistent. He is still not a good shooter. Detroit has better point guards. Billups, then Stuckey who in my mind is playing damn good and I don't see Rondo being much better than him.

We have INCONSISTENT players and players who get paid a lot of cash to get things DONE...and they don't. (Ray Allen)

He should be embarrassed.

We're still in the driver's seat, but losing Game 5 would be a disaster.

I'm surprised nobody is talking about KG's poor play last night.

He played like a girl.

Weak and afraid to take a big shot.

He barley got the ball and when he did it was at the three point line. What is he going to do with it there?
