He played like a girl.

Weak and afraid to take a big shot.

He had 16 points and 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blks.

He was 2 shots away from a 20/10 game.

He needed more help, Pierce tried, couldn't hit a shot, but was able to get to the line. Allen is still in a slump.
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

He barley got the ball and when he did it was at the three point line. What is he going to do with it there?
Take more three point attempts in the playoffs (not counting buzzer beaters) than I saw him take the entire regular season? Cause that has been the case through the first 2 and a half rounds :banghead:

KG did make 2 bad plays down the stretch in passing the ball. One was to Rondo the other was to someone else I forget. Both passed it after that and we wound up with a shot late in the clock.

Other then that I can't be too mad at him last night, he hit his shots when he was open and like Pierce when he wasn't he forced the issue to get to the line...but unlike Pierce he didn't get there nearly enough.

One thing about last night showed when pushed comes to shove KG doesn't have the mass to force the issue. It's not hard logic to see now that the playing is tough Perk is playing his best back-to-back games of the entire year. Maybe the 40 pounds of mass is more of an advantage for Duncan on KG then I thought.

Just an overall bad game. Things happen. I don't expect this to carry over into Wednesday's game. They were getting open looks at times, but never hit them consistantly. I expect a better shooting performance next game as well. I really think the 2 plays that really hurt them most was 2 times in the 4th they were down 5 with the ball. On one, Cassell launched a 3, with plenty of time on the shot clock (15 seconds or so), then the second time, Pierce did the exact same thing, although a bit quicker. Both time, Detroit came back and scored pushing the score back to 7, then 9. It is the little things in a game like this that can kill you and it certainly did.

I don't expect DET to play nearly that tough in game 5 either. they really gave the refs a choice. Either throw every player out or put your whistle in your pocket because we're going to kick the **** out of them every time they have the balls.

DET's lower intensity will help a lot.

Pierce finally returned to normal form last night though :(

You can never be mad at KG. His night in and out sweat is enough for me.
