Nope, fan since 01. I went through highschool on the Pierce and Antoine Celtics. I `m really happy for Pierce right now.

Born in '88 here, and a fan since I first found the Celtics in maybe '95.

Born 85', never seen the C's play in the finals (besides on espn classic).

I can't tell you how many times I've simulated entire seasons on NBA Live and David Stern'd the damn thing to get a Celtic-Lakers Final. This is truly a dream come true.

Ive heard stories about the glory days but have only been able to watch the likes of Greg Minor/Dino Radja/Travis Knight/Jiri Welsch/Marcus Banks/Acie Earl/Sherman Douglas and the list goes on forever

Im soooooo excited for thursday and im still in disbelief last year at this time we were all at an all time low missing out on Oden/Durant now WERE IN THE FINALS!!!!

i was 1 years old when they won their last finals. i am so happy they are back.

I don't remember the '81 Tiny teams very well but I do remember the big 3 era. It's great to be back..

And this isn't just a great team - much like those teams they are really likable. It's an unlikely story where from the outside this team came out of nowhere.....

But it's been so long, it feels like I've never seen a Celtics finals! Seriously...

I grew up in a house were basketball wasn't on the TV. My brother and I became hardcore fans in 1993. Seeing the Pats and the Red Sox having so much success while our Celtics stink has been very hard.

I'm on cloud 9 right now. Go Celtics.

Born in June of 1986. 12 days after the C's won #16.

Started seriously following the team around '95, so needless to say I've seen a lot of losing. It's a joy to think we'll all have our own Celtics Finals experience now, after only previously being able to understand it through DVD's, books and stories.

Born in 1951 and a Celtic fan since Feb 27, 1959 when I watched them score 173 points against the Lakers (Minneapolis) in a tune up with the team they would sweep in the Finals.

I was a teenager with my ear stuck to the radio in 1965 when Havlicek stole the ball and kept Russell from being a choker after his inbounds pass had hit the guide wire, giving Philly the ball.

About the same time I was riding in the back seat of my father's car near Boston when a Bill Russell tee shot went so bad it short-hopped a bounce into the passenger side car door. On the court Russell's hook was decent but on the golf course it was bad.

I was in the Garden in 1967 when KC Jones had his number retired.

In the 70's I would watch Cowens run Jabbar's legs off.

And I was one of those a$$hole Boston fans living in the California in the early 80's that always showed up in the Forum wearing green and were very conspicuous because unlike Laker fans we stayed to the very end and by the end of the game much of the crowd was clearly Celtic fans.

On more than one occasion LA sports writers would give us a frustrated, pro-LA rant in the papers the next day - Love It or Leave It - even the famous sportswriter Jim Murray was foaming about it one time.

In 1984 I watched Maxwell give James Worthy the choke sign just before the latter bricked critical free throws.

It has been a long, long time and it feels great.
