Say what you want about Schilling, but he's a winner and he's right in this analysis...

I really want the C's to win Game 3 and stick a dagger into the hearts of the Lakers, but realistically speaking, I wouldn't be surprised with a loss. I expect LA to come out firing on all cylinders and play their hearts out, cause if not, they'll be in deep DEEP sh*t going down 3-0.

On that note, I expect the C's to keep the game as close as possible, possibly taking the lead in some stretches, just to put a scare into the Lakers and not give them any confidence that they can easily win all their home games.

I would least of all expect the C's to be blown out by the Lakers, which would potentially boost LA's confidence, demoralize the C's, and dictate how games 4 and 5 might be played.

But like I said, I'd be perfectly happy with a win tomorrow.

Go C's! BEAT LA!

Celtics win a close one tonight, 104-102. Lakers one game away from elimination. :D

Refs tonight are Bennett Salvatore, Joey Crawford and Mark Wunderlich. Drink soon and often to help alleviate any stress.

We have to put the foot on the throat of LA. Just kill them toninght!!! Please for the love of god REFS,just call the game consistant. If it is going to be an especially touchy game. Call it that way all 4 quarters.

GO CELTICS!!!

I don't know if anyone say this but the line for tonight's game is Celtics +9.5. You got it right, that's not a typo, the Celtics are 9.5 point underdogs. Even if they don't win, there is no way the C's are losing by 10 points. Place your bets fellas, then collect.

i know its weird me being a fan of bill simmons, but for some reason i like reading his stuff
i found this pretty funny in his last article
but if Bennett Salvatore doesn't officiate Game 3, it will be the biggest sports upset of this century

thought that was funny and turns out he was right

anyway good luck to you guys and i hope its a good game

Since this was a game we were probably going to lose anyway with all the make-up calls going to the Fakers, might as well kill two birds with one stone and have Bennett do this one.

I just hope he doesn't wear the ring he won with Miami in 2006...that'd be too much to handle!

I'll keep an eye out for a Lakers' jersey under his shirt.

Let's just be clear on one thing I'm tired of reading:

There's no such thing as "stealing" a game when you're up 2-0.

I agree. Either the Celtics or Lakers could win tonight. There is a homecourt advantage, but the Celtics are a better team (as proven over the course of a full season and four head-to-head contests).

It's not an upset if Boston wins.

Keep the game close and the collar will get tighter, tighter and tighter as it did to the Pistons on the road. If the Pistons as great as they are spit the bit out when the pressure was applied the Laker will too as the fans start to boo and Kobe starts to press and turn on his own boys....... 8)

I hope I can get a nap in before the game. It is tough to pull off with a 22 month old boy at home. We have to run him hard for about 2 hours at night, just so he will sleep. This kids energy could power manhattan!!!!
