Lakers also missed like 13 FTs.

Yeah, we almost won it and it sickens me that we snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory but it's not like we played well enough to win.

Paul and KG -- worst games of the season. ON THE SAME NIGHT.

This is what he's not: a not-very-good shooter who thinks a turnaround fadeway 17-footer is better than hitting an open teammate.

Everybody keeps saying, "if only Sam wasn't such a hog." He is. Period. Obviously Doc tells him to spread the ball around better. He doesn't listen.

House has his obvious limitations. However, I think his worse games have come when he has faced ball pressure, and he didn't get much of it tonight. I suppose some of that is because of how early he sometimes gives it up, and that throws our offense off a bit. But it's not like anyone is calling for Eddie to get more than 10 minutes in Game 4. Just 10 more minutes than Sam. In my opinion. It's Game 4 of the Finals. If Sam doesn't know that KG, Paul and Ray are better players than he is, then screw him. I don't like saying that but I have to be honest. I cannot take another bad shot from him.

Not like it is needed to be said again, but, KG and Paul had a off night. Rondo got hurt. Eddie and Sam werent capable of doing what rondo does when healthy. The only real player who had a great game was Ray. And we only lost by 6.

I feel confident that the c's will close this one out in 5.

Garnett was 6-21 today. If anything the C's fed him too much. He even blew a continuation dunk that cost himself a chance at a three-point play, which doesn't go down as a shot.

Did anyone else see that nice story about how the Lakers let some kid meet the Grizzlies GM who gave Gassy to the Lakers along with meeting Gassy himself along with some other Lakers? Nice little story.

I'm not kidding because I would really enjoy the same nice story with McHale, Garnett and some other Celts meeting some kid before game 6 (if there is one) at the Garden. Really nice.

I'm not convinced that KG is going to have a dominant game in this series unless he tries to get inside five feet. The shots he are taking are shots that Gasol can defend. Gasol has a harder time defending power moves.

We just played badly for 3/4ths of this game, we need to counter the Kobe on Rondo thing in some way, Posting of Derrick Fischer seems like a good way to do that to me. If a few balls bounced the other way, we would have won this game a couple of rebounds bounced right to Gasol at key times, we can win game 4.

We weren't going to sweep them with Kobe, the refs were doing a makeup job for the press coverage of last game. I am not to worried, we lose game 4 I start to sweat.

Isn't it humorous how Bryant picks up quick technicals in the 1st quarters, continuous to complain in the same manner throughout the games and not only never fears getting a second technical but it never ever comes?

Pressure is STILL on the Lakers. They need to win Game 4. We don't. We can win Game 5 and take control. And even if we lose the next 2, we still go back to Boston where we've been great all postseason. That's the beauty of homecourt advantage.

Of course I have some concerns. Paul didn't just play poorly -- and boy did he; those back-to-back horrible passes killed us -- but he didn't look right. KG, I'm not that concerned about. He was just missing everything. (He struggled in the 4th quarter of Game 2 as well, but I think he'll be OK.) Everyone keeps saying he needs to take it inside more. That would be nice. Newsflash: not happening. He's been playing the same way his entire career. We can with KG being KG. He just can't shoot 30%.

Yeah...

The way our team responded, Doc included, down the stretch was disappointing IMO. But for the most part thats a fair and concise summary.

I hope we can close this out in five, and think we can, by this point I think the team has sown us it comes through when it needs to. Our performances to this point have been less than reassuring though.

They need to double Gassy more when he puts it on the floor (just as they do with Odom). After he spends about 5 seconds in the lane faking right, left, right, left, and right again and then when he finally spins back to the left and puts the ball on the floor, he's shown that he's as easy to double and steal the ball from as Perkins (sorry Perk).

I thought we'd see some TA bugging the hell out of Bryant by now... Why not for a few minutes just to try to cool him down or throw him out of rhythm when he gets it going?

Are there any more homers in the media room than in LA. It is embarrassing.

Game 4 is crucial for the C's. Give this one away, and the Lakers will have momentum going into game 5. If Lakers win game 5, there's no guarantee we'll win game 6.

As much as possible, I don't want to go into game 5 tied at 2-2.

Go C's! Win game 4!

Yeah, but McHale didn't give us KG for nothing. McHale got Al Jefferson who IMO is better than Gasol. And in the post, there's no one better than Big Al, not even KG.
