Will it be another fixed game?

I think after yesterday's performance at least 2 of the big 3 will show up tonight. I expect Doc to know by now that posey on bryant doesn't work so well, and so hpefully he goes with Ray Allen like he did for the first 2 games. I wanna see some more eddie house even though he didnt shoot so well last night, at least he looks to pass to open players (unlike cassell). I wanna see Rondo take the open jumper if he's given it, he's proven over this season that he's added a semi-reliable jumper to his repertoire. This will again be a close one, hopefully boston pulls it out.

Survey says...probably!

I love how when Kobe was shooting his 11th and 12th free throws with 7 min left in the 1st quarter, and Breen says "the Lakers have now surpassed the number of FTs in game 2...I'm sure all the fans say they expected this, but that's not true" and Jackson agreed with him while Van Gundy called them out as being ****, knowing full well that a lot of these calls were the kind of calls your woman puts on her face...MAKE-UP!!!!

Obviously this game can go either way, because the home crowd has nothing to do with it. We need to win this one and force L.A. to win three in a row with two games in Boston.

If we lose, however, all the momentum shifts to L.A. and we also lose home court. I don't think we can win Game 5 tied up at 2-2. And if the Fakers get the lead, Game 6 can also go either way.

So basically what I'm saying is, if we don't win Game 4, we could very well lose it in 6 (and that would be 4 straight Lakers victories). So obviously a must win game!

It's always nice to see Spike Lee, a life long Knicks fan cheer for the Fakers.
Celts will probably mean business in game 4.
No Cassell= nooooo problem

Must win for each team. Celtics don't want to let the Lakers up off of the mat, and the Lakers don't want to face elimination 3 times. Big, big game. I try not to stress about it, because I am older now and tell myself it is just sports, and it isn't the end of the world, but I know I am lying to myself and I'm freaking out man!!!!

Usually Game 5 is the "big game" but in this series, Game 4 will probably determine the series.

All season long and through 1 3/4 Final games, the Celtics had the Lakers thinking, "We can't beat the Celtics". After their wild comeback in game 2 and win in Game 3, the Lakers now think "They ain't so tough".

On Thursday, Game 4:

Boston wins, they've pretty much crushed the Lakers hopes and spirit.

Boston loses, even though it will be 2-2, I don't think they'll be able to overcome the Lakers because it probably leads to a game 5 victory. A loss Thursday will probably have the Celtics going home down 2-3 after game 5.

Thursday's game will define if the Celtics have Championship DNA... will they be the heart-ripping Celtics or will they let the Lakers get the edge on the series?

Oh, as if the Lakers definitely have it and just wait to see if the Celtics do, as well...

Never expected us to be in Game 3 and we were despite bad games from our two best players. And yet we were in it to the end. We should play better. This is the game I want to get.

The Lakers will not beat us 4 out of 7 times.

or the fix is really in.

we are just the superior team.

Keep dreaming. The C's could lose all the games in LA and still win the series. They have home court advantage..

boston MUST win this game. whoever wins this game, wins the series b/c LA will win game 5 with no problem. its the biggest game (other than game 7), so this is a must win for boston. there will be no way we can win the series being down 3-2. we HAVE to steal a game in LA & have two shots to win it all at home. i dont want to be down 3-2 & have the pressure on us to win the finals at home w/o one loss. LA is a great team, but we HAVE to win game 4. its a definite must win & i hope that PAUL PIERCE wakes up. 2 for 14 is ridiculous. after all that talk bout how PP plays great against LA. come on pierce. & kg needs to wake up too. get down low. both of ya'll need to get in the paint.

after having a great shot to steal game 3, i dont feel to good about this series anymore. this is a must win game

& where was powe? how many mins did he play? like 8? pj brown was in there wayyyy too long.

doc has really hurt us in certain games with his choice of lineups. at the most crucial point of the game, when we were on a run & had a shot to push the lead higher than 5, he sat KG & ray & we had a lineup of house, PP, posey, powe & brown (i think). thats when LA got back in it & took control for good. he should NEVER have sat Ray in the 4th.

Obviously a win would be nice, but this is not a must-win. The Pistons and Spurs series was won by the home team all 7 games, so I can see this one ending that way as well. It's not a preference, but is a possibility. I hope Eddie House gets 30 minutes and Rondo 18. I'd put House in for most of the time that Garnett is in. Hopefully Garnett won't resort to a lot of jumpers and we can see the dominant player he is capable of being. Rondo is my favorite Celtic but with his injury and his play hasn't been superior on the road in the playoffs, so I think it would make more sense to put House in with Garnett. Please no Cassell.
