I still haven't figured out why the majority of Laker fans are so cocky about their team, anyone see them on the news? "Lakers are definitely going to win this!" if you go on any sports messageboard site, the majority of them actually expected Lakers in 5.. "6 max".

And they actually think Kobe's the real MVP?

The most important thing about this series besides my beloved Celtics winning is that it will be the first Championship in ten years that will never have an astereix beside it. This one is legit.

Prediction for game 5: PAIN and the lakers will be feeling it. Boston will dance on LA's home court.

Totally agree with you there, I too think we win Game 5.. and get redemption for 1985.

Then do it again next year? :)

too bad ESPN is the only major sports network. there needs to be a rival jus like ESPN, but better.

Yea, the media is stupid and anyone who thought the lakers would win in 5 games or less clearly doesn't know a thing about Celtic basketball. I was surprised that every espn analyst predicted the lakers to win, to the point that they had to add on the predictions of 2 other people just so that they could have at least one person predicting celtics and even that prediction was celtics in 7. Pretty pathetic really.

He got the mvp simply because 'its about time' and because 'chris paul has many more opportunities to win it', not because he deserved it. KG turned this team into a championship calibre team, and the hornets without chris paul is a team with 30 less wins. Cleveland without lebron is a lost cause.

Need to finish this like we finished the Hawks, no more drama, especially Game-6 type drama.

When teams lead the series 3 to 1 they are 28 and 0 in winning the whole series.
series won
14 times in game 5
12 times in game 6
2 times in game 7

BEAT LA!!!

I love when the Celtics have the power to end an NBAs season with a win.

It's not over yet, but it certainly will be soon. This is a Cav's fan extending congratulations to the Celtics and all their fans. The BEST team in the NBA is going to win this thing.

Another chance to win a series, and end another team's regime in one fell swoop. Do it!

I don't like the refs (Bavetta, Mauer) for this game. And I'm worried about the injuries. We can not only lose the game, but also the momentum.

We definitely will have all of our momentum if it goes to Game 6, because the crowd will be insane.

I really think tonight is the night. I always feel good about our chances with 2 days off rest. I don't want to extend the series and tempt fate with Pierce's knee. I don't want to see small ball when the shots don't fall. And I'm scared to see our Center be Big Baby or Powe because Perk is to hurt to play and PJ too old to go 43 mpg anymore.

2 days rest man, Ray Allen always played well after 2 days off. Pierce hopefully can match his performances in game 2 tonight. And honestly, it's about time for Garnett to take a game himself. He's been on the edge and outshined by heroics or Allen and Pierce... but if there every was a time that time is now for him to raise us up to the rafters.

That song sums up the emotions of the Celtic players tonight:

I can feel it coming in the air tonight, Oh Lord
I've been waiting for this moment, all my life, Oh Lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, Oh Lord, Oh Lord
