Thanks Gant. This team is an infirmary –even Tony Allen looks healthy in comparison to some of the starters. Let's end this thing tonight before it gets uglier.

And Gasol is going to be more aggressive with Powe on him. I think Baby might do a better job of stopping Gasol with his girth and all.

Perkins is a big loss for Boston. I think this could change the game a bit, with Odom and Gasol having a bit more freedom to get to the basket.

If it is a "precautionary" miss of a game from Perkins and he would definitely be available back in Boston, then I wouldn't worry too much. But if he can't go the rest of the series, this could be an issue for Boston because of the rebounding and shot-blocking that will be missing.

As I said in another thread, I expect Powe's energy to come in very handy against a Laker attempt to overwhelm the Cs with energy at the start of the game, much as they did in Game 4.

Davis would have similar benefits, but his play is sloppier.

And Powe is a much better defender against a team committed to attacking the rim -- as the Lakers surely hope to be -- than he is against a pure ball movement team. He has a good chance to please us all and start the game off well.

I hope they don't let LA up off of the mat and I want them to celebrate in front of all the stars, especially Jack.

You know what? I'm not sure it matters who starts at center or who plays in what order.

The fouls are likely to come fast and furious, so there probably will be a lot of lineup shuffling in the post in any case.

Get Rondo out! He is useless in this series, when they defend us like that. Get House in!!!!

They obviously think think they can jump shoot their way to the title and they are sorely mistaken.

we are playing with th e house money but guys lets break the bank. No more jump shots with long rebounds that allow them to run.. lets get Allen and Pierce the ball. spread the court and let them work the mismatches.
