It seems fitting that we're going for Number 17 tonight on the 17th of June. If there's a lottery out there make sure you play 17. I looked at this board and didn't see many positive posts about tonight and I think it's about time we started getting excited about the opportunity in front of us and the possibility of hoisting number 17 to the rafters. Of course there are no guarantees but now is the time to be positive and forget about the negatives. As Belushi said when the going gets tough ( long pause)... the tough get going. We are the team with the most heart and the most desire. Sure we have flaws but now is our time. It's been a long haul for the last 22 years and we've had a lot of disappointment in that time but here we are on the brink of a championship !! It's the time to get behind this team for the final push. LET'S GO CELTICS!!

Tonight is the night Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen finally become champions.

Lol Ive been saying that to friends since I noticed it before game 2 and now on the 17th we actually have a chance to win #17

Not only that but Havlicek presented us with the Eastern Conf. Champ. trophy and sent us into the Finals and as we all know, he *is* #17...

Hmm...17 - 12 = 5. Kevin Garnett wears number 5. "Bill Fenton Russell" has 17 letters. Bill Russell won championships. I think it works.
