Great thread, I was thinking of starting this as well.

How about after we jumped out to the fast start and silenced most of the early questions, the "...they are winning way too much which means they won't have anything left in the tank for the playoffs..."

I'm surprised no one has unearthed one of my favourites:

"The Big 3 are too old and their window of opportunity is very small. I'll give them two, maybe three years to win it all"

Guess freaking what? The Big 3 are not old but in their primes, and they seem to fit through very small windows nicely.

...because the Lakers bench is just too darn deep.

I can't wait for the repeat version next year and how the questions will still be the same. People are **** (Please Use More Appropriate Word)...

They're gonna have to worry about making the playoffs before they can expect to win a championship.

"the celtics wouldn't even end as the top seed in the eastern conference"

maybe because they meant that "the celtics will end up at the top of the league".... NAH, we proved these B*T**ES wrong!

The Basketball Gods won't let them win it all because they tanked last year!

I think it was the SI, who wrote that the Big 3 won't mesh well, because Ray Allen and Paul Pierce are playing the same position.

Other tidbits:

- no depth
- no "winners"
- injury risk
- Doc Rivers
- weak at C & PG, the "most important positions of any team"
- no backup C
- no backup PG

...

How about "too many shooters and only one ball"
