Rondo needs to attack Miller the whole game. If he is aggressive, we will win for sure.

This game is home? Wow. Pat on the back to the TD Banknorth Garden crew. The bruins are playing now, they will have to get that ice taken off quickly, and the court set. Plus bruins play tomorrow night, so the ice will have to come back on shortly after the celtics game. Then again the crew probably loves stuff like that.

I'm going to this game. Flying solo but hey I don't really mind at all! :o)

On paper is looks like the Sixers should find some daylight if Iggy drives on Ray Allen [did anyone see Jamal Crawford make Ray Allen inot a sack of potatoes after his cross-over? Hilariously bad defense]

And Miller if allowed some daylight should be able to use his strength against Rondo.

From there, the Sixers only 3 point shooter is Thad Young. So that will make it tough. And Iggy isn't good enough to take the team on his shoulders and transform this offense to make up for the lack of a perimeter threat.

And that's not even counting the possibility Rondo has a good night defensively and wastes a few extra seconds making Miller be carefull bringing the ball up....

Okay so on paper it isn't looking THAT great even for the Sixers. All that talent though, they should be better then a 7-8 team. I'm going to have to watch and try to see why they are doing so bad... it may just be the lack of a perimeter threat even though Brand has that mid-range game.

I would really like to see Garnett have a breakout game. Something like 25 points, 15 boards and 4-5 assist, 2-3 block or something along those lines. It really seems he has been dormant in my opinion.

I know he had to go for salary purposes, but can you imagine if Korver was still in Philly? Oh man, he'd be in heaven. Playing on that team would turn him into a 20anight guy

There must of been some kind of internal promblem because they still needed Kover's 3s when they traded him.. for a future pick I believe. From Utah of all places so it wasn't going to be a high pick.

I think Garnett's been having a better season then last. The only diffrence is this year he started a foot or two outside of his normal range. But besides that he has really had a huge impact on the games he's played so far. I don't think that was the case every night last year.

Garnett's rebounding has been decisive, and he's even going to the hoop a few times against weak defenses instead of settling for jumpers.

Well, Iguodala has been a huge disappointment so far. He is still short of a 20 point game. He has made some improvements in the last couple of games, but I would not expect too much yet. Elton Brand has not found his comfort zone yet, as he was not used to his full strength (virtually, their is no pick and roll/pop to make things easier). He has also struggled with his shot so far, although he was hitting a ton of shots during the second half against Orlando.

In fact, the Sixers are struggling to score points, if they cannot run fastbreaks. Their lack of ball movement may attribute to their shortcomings on offense, and obviously they do not have any shooters (Thad has struggled from the three point range lately).

I think at this point the Celtics will take command of a big lead and sustain it through the game. The Sixers are not competitive yet.

Who on the 76ers will be able to slow down Pierce?

97-87 win.
