Why has "Lakers are doomed" thread been locked?!?

Hey yo!

I think it was a fair, polite and quite articulated thread from both sides. I don´t think there was any trace of disrespect. It was just a clash but nothing else.

Just check First Amendment to the United States Constitution.....

Because we've had enough Laker stuff on the board lately and all it does is act as an attractant for Laker trolls to come and start arguments with us...

I might be wrong, but this was supposed to be a basketball board where people discuss hoops topics, right?

Some people would prefer listening to new ideas even if they don't agree with them rather than living in a Brave New World. If we keep it smart, clean and polite I don't get why ANYTHING should be banned.

don't take it personally dude, but why didn't you add to one of the other 3 lakers-related threads, instead of starting your own? don't act like your civil rights have been violated, sheesh.

You're correct, but there is also a balance between this and egging on trolls from other teams. I know it is not fair and I myself disagree with it a lot but that's how it is. Certain teams fans are always going to start **** on this board when their team comes up, such as the Knicks, Raptors, Lakers, to name three of the most egregious ones...

You could have posted your thoughts in one of the other many LA threads. No need for another LA thread that could egg on the trolls and start a flame war. No good will come out of it. The title just leads to trouble.

Good point. You gotta learn, certain teams posters will always come here to cause trouble...Knicks, Lakers, Raptors, they will always antagonize us (with rare exceptions)...
