Wow, that graphic is awesome. Glad you chose Kobe as the grinch, but I bet it didn't take too long to land on that character.

The team goes with Rondo. Hopefully we get the game 6 Rondo and not the on the road in the playoffs Rondo. Or better yet, the 2008-09 Rondo. He's pretty good.

keys to this game. perk stopping bynum the way he does it. rondo putting up the pressure on the older derek fisher. We have to go to kg more against the lakers. let our offense start there and i bet ray and P2 will get their dues. I have a feeling that if we win, it'll be a blowout.

Celtics win by 10-15 I know that sounds unrealistic/homerish but the Celtics offense is flourishing with the improved play of Rajon Rondo and there are a lot of questions surrounding the Lakers on Defense. The Celtics backcourt presents mismatches for the Lakers; Fisher can't guard Rondo, Kobe chasing around Ray benefits the Celtics overall, Walton on Pierce LOL. Even if they switch it up and put Kobe on Rondo it will present the same problems as last year finals, who guards Ray Allen? do they put Sasha on him again.

KG needs to make Gasol cry

Ray Ray will probably make Sasha cry.. please, please, please let there be a 1-1 clear out for Ray when Sasha is on the floor... Mental Disintegration!

Pierce can show Kobe how to cry like a man ;)

This game is ALL about Rondo....The Lakers' biggest weakness is guarding quick point guards...if Rajon comes out walking the ball up the court--C's are in trouble...or if the refs call cheap/quick fouls on him......27-2 is nice and all--but, we lose on Thursday, and we're behind last year's pace.

GO Rondo---Stay Aggressive!!

I agree, Rondo is the key. If he is aggressive, if he keeps attacking the rim and playing at high speed we have a great chance to win.

BEAT LA!!!

Funny GT westthebest, good job

I expect Celtics to win, but LA was waiting for this game to revenge for a looong time, it may end in either way.
Who would win one-on-one in HORSE?

Bird: Nobody beats me in H-O-R-S-E. Besides, Magic cant shoot.

Magic: Larry, you'd have no chance against me one-on-one. I've got too many ways to beat you. Plus, as slow as I am, I'm still faster than you.

That 19 game winning streak is pretty damn nice. But you guys better get used to "Streak Busters" when talking about the Lakers.

The Streak ends at 19. Philip gets his 1000th win.

Merry Christmas to Celtic and Laker fans alike, this game is going to be one real Christmas treat.

omg lol, we have one of the best pre-game threads seriously...those graphics are just top notch lol.

I am very confident about Thursdays game and look for us to be victorious in the end.

Lakers play no defense and recently held a team meeting about poor defense. They know what's up. But you can't teach defense and make players better defenders just because you have that team meeting. You need good defensive players, good coaching staff something that they don't have like we do and his name isThibidou. (sp?)

Rondo is playing out of his mind and I bet they will be very physical with him. I see few technical fouls being given out to both teams.

I seriously can't stand Sasha Vujacic. Probably one of the players I hate the most...don't ask why..

Lakers have one problem. When they play great they get along with eachother. If they have a bad game, fingers are being pointed at. I saw them just not communicating well on both of their loses versus Miami and Orlando. Farmar was yelling at Bynum, Kobe was doing some talking as well, rolling his eyes - this tells me this team doesn't have a strong BOND with one another. Championship teams have strong BOND and even the Lakers fans will admit this, they don't have a BOND.

Well done WTB, great game thread. Should be a fun game. I am doing all my family stuff today and will spend the AM with the wife, so by game time, I will have fulfilled all of my duties and will be able to enjoy the game. Should be a good one.
