The way I see it it will come down to how physical the refs let each team be. You know LA will try to establish Bynum early seeing as how the whole world believes that he would have gotten them the title if he had played. If Perk gets some cheap fouls called on him for being physical while defending Bynum, it will disrupt our defense and play into LA strength of an offensive shootout. If our guys stay out of foul trouble then I believe we match up better with them now than in the finals now that Odom comes off the bench.

"Perk" - Bynum
"The Big Ticket" - Gasol
"The Truth" - Walton
"Jesus" - Kobe
Rondo - Fisher

Rondo needs a nickname!?!

Happy holidays everyone!!! Even the Laker fans!

Ray Ray will probably make Sasha cry.. please, please, please let there be a 1-1 clear out for Ray when Sasha is on the floor... Mental Disintegration!

Pierce can show Kobe how to cry like a man ;)

I know you're not talking about crying when you got wheelchairs on your team :o

I'm sure Paul Peezy will have a lot of his Pyru blood homies at that game.

Piru*

Never in your life disrespect the B game like that again.

How the hell can you be from LA and not know how to spell Piru?

And hell yeah this is coming from a Laker fan.

How dare you disrespect this E-thug mang!

I love that pic of KG and Fisher, what was LA thinking wearing the short shorts? They looked so ridiculous in comparison to the Celtics long shorts.

WTB...amazing game thread as usual.....best one yet.

Merry Christmas to all the Celtics peeps and Lakers fans visiting the thread.

Let's hopes it's a competitive game with no on getting hurt and the C's coming out on top. :)

I think a big part of this game will be decided by Ariza's defense. I expect PP to eat Walton alive (no foot speed) and get him in early foul trouble, just like he did to VladRad in the finals. So the Lakers will have to go to Ariza early, if PP continues to hurt the Lakers (hopefully he'll post him up and not stay on the perimeter), then I figure we'll come away with this one. But if he has trouble with Ariza, we might lose.

Don't expect to see Walton a whole lot , he only starts by default anyway.

We've been doing that every game anyway nothing new about that, plus Trevor been a beast lately. He's playing most of Vlad's and Luke's minutes.

Thank god for our TEAM! Everybody knows their role and excepts it!
WRONG...........neither was complaining about minutes, Bynum was just questioning Phil's choice not to use him in the forth quarter at certain stretches. And Farmar NEVER complained about minutes, where do you guys get your delusional info from ? Farmar wanted some clarity on his role seeing as he has a big tendency to stray from our offense like every game.

If your going to act like Nostradamus about the Lakers at least have what your talking about nail down.

These Delusions come from reading the laker players bitch and moan about PT. So the delusion, is an accurate statement. Celts are going to win with the starters on the bench for the end of the game.

The game needs to start already. I have been passing time watching the Paper Tiger park himself in the lane at both ends of the floor and get away with moving picks and fouling when establishing position on both ends. I am trying to turn it off but I am Jonesing for hoops.

Again state who has done such thing ? To my knowledge only Bynum fit the criteria but only to a certain degree, because he's playing close to 30 minutes a game but Phil takes him out late in the 4th. All Bynum really want's to do is help close games out...........which really isn't a bad idea. But Phil is Phil and Bynum is figuring that out now.

OK, if you want to formulate it differently fine. But in the end both players complained because they didn`t play as much as they wanted...

When you role players are complaining that is never a good thing.

The game's going to be on cable here. Still 2 hours to go, I just can't wait! Watching SA vs PHX on league pass broadband at the moment but it just makes me more anxious.
