We have always had difficulties playing the bobcats. They don`t have Richardson who killed us every time anymore, so that is good but I wouldn`t be surprised if we lose to them...How mightily we have fallen. 14 days ago I would be extremely confident, now a loss seems quite possible... ;)

We should win this, but they always play us tough...

Since Tony Allen is out tonight I hope Pruitt finally gets some meaningful minutes. But Doc will probably give all of them to Scal...

Celtics guard Tony Allen will miss the game against the Charlotte Hornets tonight with a right ankle strain. Allen, injured during the Celtics' 100-88 loss to New York Sunday, could also miss the Celtics' home game against Houston Wednesday.

"I re-injured it driving into the middle when I got called for traveling," Allen said after viewing the Celtics' pre-game shootaround at the Time Warner Cable Arena Tuesday. "I tweaked it and I should have left the game but I tried to play on it. Hopefully, it will be better tomorrow."

Celtic coach Doc Rivers said the involvement of Gabe Pruitt and Brian Scalabrine would likely be increasing, regardless of Allen's status.

"We have to figure out a way to get (Scalabrine) on the floor," Rivers said. "He does a lot of good things for us."

In light of our recent play and struggles with the Bobcats the last couple years, its unlikely we can win this game. However, Tony Allen being out with injury should help our cause.

No Tony Allen to drive me nuts this game, something to look forward to. I bet Doc still wont put in pruitt though, itl be the House and Scalabrine show off the bench...is that any better? ugh.

and why do the Bobcats have the lead??.....cause the refs are NOT calling anything when the C's go to the basket....NOTHING.....Pierce bumped twice and jersey grabbed...Perkins knocked around...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

The celtics are losing because the offense once again has no rhythm, doesn't look like they are even running plays out there. Defense has been looking pretty poor lately as well.

Were getting outplayed by an eastern conference bottom feeder....again.

I'm sick and tired of the C's having to play against the opponent AND the refs.....and I'm not wrong.

I can't believe Garnett didn't get called for a T for raising his elbow when the guy was coming down during one of the fast break dunks.

I'm not a C's fan but why do the Cats always play you guys so close? Is it because of Gerald Wallace and/or Emeka? I'm not here to gloat or troll at all, I just want an analysis and I figured you guys would know because no one knows the Cs like you do.

This team has/is having a mental let down. We weren't as good as our record win streak. And the loss on Christmas day was a mental turd that we haven't recovered from.
reading its fun-da-mental.

the problem right now is between the ears.
and the offence needs to be tweeked.

Yet another team that is beating the celtics that should not be. This team is not as good as it was last year that is all there is to it. No way the celtics are going to win this game that way it is going.

I know teams lose but the Celtics losing to yet another sub par team is not acceptable.
