We're either going to get blown out or we're going to come out on a mission looking to reestablish ourselves. We couldn't be playing worse right now, but hopefully the day off did the team some good and comes out looking fresh. This would be a HUGE win for the C's.

While this isn't a MUST win, it's close....at least for the team's psyche, at this point...

Anyone else see the guys in CLE wearing crab costumes? veryfunny.
If they're playing crappy at the start I hope they decide to just ride Pierce for the night.

The crab thing reminds me of a joke I heard on the tv show "The Office"

A guy goes to a 5 dollar... lady of the night and he gets crabs.

So the next day he goes back to complain and the woman says "Hey it was only 5 dollars. What did you expect Lobster?

So I'm at the C's/Rockets the other night and I think Paul was called for traveling. I stand up and yell, "but ref, that was a crab dribble". Everyone in my section busted up laughing. The nature and size of Lebron's ego is pure comedy.

What would be better for the Celtics.

To lose, and be embarrassed and hopefully that would get it through their heads that they are not "fine". And need to get back to effort basketball.

Or to win, and give hope that nothing is urgent and everything will be "fine" in the end regardless if anything changes for the playoffs.

That question is pretty much loaded to make the "right" answer hoping for the Celtics to lose tonight. Which is never the right answer.

rondo is hurt, but it doesn't matter much since he usually doesn't show up at the away games.. but still, I have a feeling that LeCrab James will go cold and we'll take the game..

I need a win just so the fellowship of the miserable will give it a rest.

Rondo triple double tonight. He owned Mo Williams in that first game.

he is hurt, I don't expect him to be 100%

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo's left shoulder was wrapped after the team's Friday morning shootaround. But Rondo said he would start the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Sullly, my hat is off to you as usual. "Fellowship of the miserable".....epitomized to a tee by JoetheAmazingProphetBiscuit - who predicted a loss in every playoff series when we won #17 last spring. Haven't you heard? - we are bunch of high school girls and losers, ..... and we need to trade 1 of the big 3 immediately before we are removed from the NBA because of ineptitude....and we are going to be embarrassed on national TV in a few minutes...and we will finish the year at .500 (which would require a 12-32 record for the rest of the year). I am not making this up. These are some of the predictions brilliantly espoused by Joe the Prophet extraordinaire. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

Guess what? Are we having a totally uncharacteristic rough patch? YES! Is Ray shooting poorly? YES! Has KG been inconsistent? YES! Does Rondo look like a rook again after a spectacular period of play during our win streak? YES! On the other hand, who is averaging close to 30 ppg on 60-70% shooting overall and behind the arc for the last 10 games or so, and playing like a top 5 in the league? PAUL MOTHERFRIGGING PIERCE - THE TRUTH! Whose record is 29-8? THE WORLD CHAMPION BOSTON CELTICS! Who will give the Bronsters (undefeated at home this year) a run for their money tonight? THE WORLD CHAMPION BOSTON CELTICS! Who will get their game back very soon? Ray, KG and Rondo. Who is working behind the scenes to get us the crazy but very talented Starbury, and another big (ala PJ)? DANNY THE GENIUS AINGE! Who will win the Eastern Conference? THE BOSTON GODDAM CELTICS!

GO GREEN FOR ETERNITY COME HELL OR HIGH WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.
