having him out there sometimes with Rondo, Ray, KG etc would open him up for some great plays

Agreed. I think he sometimes tries too much to impress, but then again that's what we should expect from him. It's really all up to doc.

Billy has the strength and ability to finish strong around the rim with guys hanging all over him. I'm pretty sure he has a good midrange j, too. Kid's definitely got NBA talent.

clearly , the Celtics are in a higher league than the Suns are at this point of the season. Garnett clearly took it to Amare and I want to thank Garnett for putting Amare in his place. Amare is not a All Star and is not going to be one until he gets Garnett's intensity.

Rondo + KG + Bill Walker = Scary.

Would love to see these 3 on the floor at once.

So can we trade Perk to strengthen the bench?

Another great win. Scalabrine's defense on Amare was great tonight. Scal and Big Baby have been playing really well the last 4-5 games.

Amare scoreless from the field. Incredible.

And to think I was worried about this game.

once again Rondo proved that when he plays well we win. Let's keep this win in perspective; the suns are in the middle of a 6 game road trip and played the day before. Boston was rested and came out with great energy and took the legs out of the suns. When we play them in Phoenix I wouldn't be shocked if they run us off the floor. Nonetheless, this may have been the best 3 quarters we've played this year in terms of defense and offense. We are undefeated with Scal starting. Dare I say that Scal helps spread the floor on O and is a very good team defender and even a decent one on one defender. As DOc says he knows where he's supposed to be. Scal should shoot 200 threes a day because he is ALWAYS OPEN at the 3 pt line. He could be a great weapon for us if his shooting is good. I would almost consider bringing perk off the bench or perhaps platooning scal and perk depending on who we're playing. Since Scal has been in the lineup we haven't had a bad first quarter and as Jeff Van GUndy says " the NBA is a first quarter league". Pruitt continues to impress me as does Walker. POB is just too soft. He made some nice plays but that turnover after getting a nice rebound shows you what his weakness still. Still he made a beautiful pass to leon and blocked a few shots. In a year or two he could be a nice player if he gets stronger. Leon struggled with his shot all night and he either needs to pass the ball out of the double team or get into his move quicker. Right now when he gets the ball the play dies. Eddie is way too trigger happy and took some bad shots. If there's one thing I would like to see out of the second unit it's better ball movement and less half court offense. I'd love to see the second unit push the ball the way the first unit did. BTW how about scal and ray hooking up on some fast breaks? I love it when we run and hopefully we see a lot more of that the remainder of the year. Finally I'd love to see Giddens get in a game or two before he goes back to the NBDL or gets traded.

It is nice to be able to be outscored by 14 in the 4th quarter and still win going away.

Haha. Amare and 0 points and 1 rebound in 30 minutes. Scalabrine shut him down. Who would have thought? Props to Scal.

I dare someone to go to the Phoenix board and post a Scalabrine for Amare trade.
