Hes probably finally been bought out, but the Boston stuff is speculation at this point and other teams will bid for him
I for one, welcome Steph if he comes here though.. i dont care about the cancer comments, or the headcase portrayal of this guy.. he can play, and obviously wants to win if hes coming here
Marbury/Pruitt
House/TA/JR
Scal/Walker
Powe
Moore/Davis
Our bench could go from nothing to pretty strong in the space of 3 days ( i think moving Eddie to the 2 guard dramatically improves his game, aswell as the additions of Moore and Marbury)
In any game that's mattered or crucial moment,
Ray Allen has been the backup SF from Day 1 this year.
Since Ray plays 11 mpg at SF, and 25 mpg at SG;
there are actually about 24 mpg at SG open,
in addition to the 15 PG minutes available when Rondo is off the floor.
Of the 39 available guard minutes,
Eddie will probably continue to get his 17 mpg.
That leaves a pretty big door for Steph.
Plus, the Celtics will finally have a ball handler who can protect the ball,
and will be able to give Rajon a break down the stretch.
Pierce too, in effect, since If Ray slides over to the 3 like has done all year,
there is a true shooter/scorer who can play the SG spot as well.
And Steph's career average of 7.8 APG after 800 games is nothing to sneeze it,
he did start his NBA career at age 19,
so even though he's sat out the past 13 months, he's got tons of experience.
