not to take anything away from the C's but beating the blazers without Roy, Oden, Pryz, Batum, Outlaw and at the end bayless, their isnt much building to be built if you know what im sayin.

Great game though, GL on contending

Thing is we have been playing exactly the same regardless of the other 5 were playing against. We played identical games against bottom teams like Chicago, and top teams such as Atlanta and Dallas..if we played a high school team today, or if the Blazers were at full strentgh we would have ALSO played a close game...we won't build on this, but this is just to get the 'monkeys off our backs'...

thank god. this was dangerously close to another really ugly loss. when rondo missed that layup and pierce committed the offensive foul I almost plotzed. we needed to get a win no matter how and no matter against who. sure, we played like crap and almost gave away another one but we got this one and maybe now that our cherry is broken we'll start playing better ball again.

6 turnovers by rondo. he made some big plays but he's still not playing 48 minutes of good basketball.

The Celtics lucked out on this one. When you don't fight for rebounds, turn the ball over, miss wide open shots and have a 7-footer park his ass on the 3-point line instead of on the blocks it usually doesn't add up to a win. Thank god Roy didn't play.

I thought that Rajon made some phenomenal hustle players and
intuition plays tonight. He gets my vote for victory cigar.

Exculpatory will probably opine that Pierce outplayed Rondo,
which he did,
because Paul is simply better,
but Rajon is the overachiever here.
