hmmm no Roy, and KG's 1st gm back. im gonna go on a limb and say our Celtics win this one 88-79 to stop the 3-gm bleeding.

1 game at a time ....

This is a huge game for us. If we don't win this, things can get really ugly. I would love to have a 2 game win streat before we head out on the road to play Atlanta and Orlando( than it's the Lakers at home)..so...if we want to turn things around and get our 'respect' back, this is that time.

Since KG is back, I'll go on to say Boston wins this game...but it will be close.

This team treats every game as if it's irrelevant.

And I'm not sure why we're bringing KG back with the all-star break right around the corner. Might as well rest him till post ASG

We'll see what happens. Something's gotta give at some point and we'll start playing well...... at least I hope.

I get what you're saying, but It might be better to get a few games under his belt before it. This way he's eased into.

From the title of the thread I thought you were going to be talking about Kevin Pritchard here. Big game though for sure if for no other reason than KG is coming back.

Garnett is going to be slow and tired.

Garnett hasn’t played since the end of 2009, or just over three weeks ago, and during that time he apparently did no conditioning before this week, according to the team. It will take him a week’s worth of action, at least, to get back in rhythm and game-condition.

Jeff Pendergraph is going to eat him alive!

Right now I have no confidence is this team unless they start to show me something, like you know, winning games. Blazers and Celtics almost have the same record. I know KG is coming back and Roy is out but I just don’t see a win tonight.

Question will KG sit out the AS game if selected??? It would be messed up if the C's have been sitting him out of meaningful games and he plays in a very meaningless one! I know that the AS game is not really a hard game but he could just rest his knee some more! I also hope Ray gets some rest durig the break!

C's by 5!

I love how Garnett's first game back is against the Blazers. Their fans are like the Toronto fans of the West. If we win it's almost guaranteed there will be a new topic on the general board complaining about Garnett's intensity.

KG seems to be dragging a little, could just be stamina!

I thought KG looked better then he did at the begining of the season. Seems to be running well and his intensity is there. This is starting to look like the team everyone knows that they are, not what weve seen lately.

Let's see if we can make it through the 3rd quarter.....

*EDIT*

Our rebounding woes are troubling.

The Blazers are incredibly deep and talented, so losing a bunch of stars doesn't affect them as much as it would other teams. Bayless was projected to be a top five pick by many but slipped to the Blazers, yet never really played until all their injuries mounted. I think he has All-Star potential. Rudy is another player who could be a star in the league but is kind of held down with Roy in his way.

Aldrige and Bayless are both going to be stars in this league.
