D-backs have Hairston, who is better right now. Any offers? FLA, maybe?

DON'T TRADE BYRNES!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has attempted 2 diving catches that glaced off his glove. This doesn't warrent a trade. Remember he had 2 key hits in the first 2 games that gave us the tye or the lead.

He was forced to go to right due to Q's injury wait till he gets to left or gets adjusted to right before puting on the trade wire.

Don't trade him?

What are you talking about, theres no need for him, Hairston is better, and is finally getting a chance. At the end of next year they'll have Carlos Gonzalez who is another stud OF, and the year after that they'll have another stud OF in Justin Upton.

I say don't trade because your putting your eggs into one basket. Right now we have Harriston, Young, Byrnes, and Q. All who are with the big club or on the DL. If you trade one of those four you have to bring up one of the guys you were talking about Gonzalez or Upton before they are ready. Byrnes is one a one year deal let him play out his contract year and let him walk then bring up another kid you need vets to help these young player along if you don't then it becomes trial by fire and alot have set backs. Plus you protect yourself from injury like what Scotty did last night when he fouled the ball off the inside of his left knee. Thankfully it wasn't serious and he won't miss much time if any but it could have been alot worse and where would we be if we don't have a guy like Byrnes to help ease those types of problems.

I started this thread way early... Byrnes has surpassed my expectations by a lot and is playing very well.

But don't judge a player by fantasy baseball.

Yeah, he is 5th best ranked fantasy player, my fault. But seriously Orlando Hudson, im not sure of his fantasy ranking but he must be considered one of the best players in the game because of what he's done so far this season.

Byrnes is pretty much an average corner outfielder, nothing more, he'll pretty much give you an .800 OPS and a .330 OBP.

The past 2 years in AAA Hairston has put up a .995 OPS, I'm pretty sure if both given the same ABs threw a full season Hairston will be better.

My point exactly. Byrnes can't keep this up the whole year, and he's in a contract year... buy low sell high.

The Cubs have Pie in the majors now. Why would they need Byrnes?

Pshh..I know this was posted a while back, but Hairston has never, and will never be better than Byrnes with that .230 AVG, .317 OBP.

This morning a guy on 1250am in MKE talked about a Byrnes to Milwaukee for Zach Jackson and Gabe Gross. If I was Milwaukee I would've jumped all over that. But I'm sure do to the fact that their was no reason for it to be reliable it was bound to never get mentioned after the 10 minutes directly afterwards.

That would be the same radio station that reported the Adam Dunn deal as fact and their source was a blog.
