sorry byron, no team reviews by me this year. they took WAY too long last year, and the concencious was i was my point system was highly flawed. so i relinquish my duties as review master general and offer my support to anyone who is willing to pick up the task.

but if your looking at the teams on paper right now, one team stands out and i think is above and beyond the best and considered favorite - whoever has Bautista, Utley, Texiera, Hart and Kemp. wow. stacked.

But if you don't, what will we use as fodder next February? The 2012 HKL draft will be as boring as listening to one of Gamble's stories.

So...it's over...now everyone in the league won't talk or post messages (here or yahoo) until the hockey draft starts up...sweet.

fun stuff.

ok, so since i was asked by a couple people to write the reviews, i guess i can. (unless someone else wants too? wink wink)

so last year i complied the projected numbers by a central site, and allocated point totals based on overall numbers which were stated previous to any of the reviews. with that system having various flaws, is there any other approch you think would work best?

the number crunching was mainly the most time consuming since i was finding averages for every team in every category.

i COULD just write reviews based on my highly comprehensive knowledge of baseball, and have no statistical backing of any sort - but then i will undoubtedly be accused of bias since my team is far more superior then the rest and none of you honestly have a chance this year.

what if we all wrote our own reviews about our own team, and then everyone gives the review a grade, or a point total of 1-100, and whoever has the most appointed peer score will determine unofficial rankings, to then be debated and trash talked until the regular season commences?

Why dont you get those projected numbers, total for each team, and rank each team in each category 1-12 and then average it out?

i think you should write them however you want
id just be glad to have them, its always just a good source of fun that carries out the draft discussion a little longer until the season actually starts

I liked the system you used last year, but ultimately I just want to read about my own awesomeness.
