Eh, that player's lack of control scares me a bit. Zimmermann has a chance to start this season.

#3 starters aren't that easy to find.

And, wait, where was I touting my Zimm pick? I thanked SSK for making my job easy since I was debating on whether to take Flores or Zimm.

I think we may be talking about two different starters, mine had a better K%, BB% and GB% in AA than Zimmermann did. Although maybe not.

Courtesy of FirstInning

Your guy:

BB/PA: 11.2%
K/PA: 26.6%
GB: 40%
FIP: 3.46

Zimmermann:

BB/PA: 8.9%
K/PA: 23.5%
GB: 48%
FIP: 3.60

I’m pretty sure that Your Guy is the same guy you’re thinking about, which was one of the same guys I was thinking about (I’m a big fan of his for obvious reasons). I think Zimmermann has a better shot at seeing MLB service time this season and pitches in a much more favorable division/league. Other than that, I think they’re both very similar and profile as potential top-end #2-#3 starters.

Naw, your talking about someone who is already owned. And I really hope you wouldn't have taken Zimmermann over him if he wasn't owned. My guy was in the same draft as Zimmermann but taken higher.

Ha, didn’t even see Tillman was already taken.

I like Tillman a lot but pitching for the Orioles, especially with his lack of command/control makes him incredibly risky.

But I think I know who you're talking about now and, yes, I'd much rather have Zimmermann than him.

Attention phags, my entire roster is up for sale, for the right price of course (minus Carlos Zambrano. He mine). Preferably (COUGH) I'm willing to trade offense for pitching even though I predict Ben Sheets to have a Cy Young Rehab year

You guys are forgetting a pitcher who is better than both those sluts.

If we are actually thinking of the same guy, if both are in the same division and park I don't see how you'd rather have Zimmermann but can understand it given that one has to pitch in a harder division.

Never said the guy I'm talking about would be on top of my board, just saying if I wanted a close to MLB ready starter I probably would have picked him.

Wait, nevermind. I think me and you are talking about the same person. Also, the person you thought I was talking about is also better. Glad to know you think so too.

But they’re not in the same division and that guy not only will be pitching in a harder division but a more unforgiving home stadium.

I see. Well, you're not really doing a good job.
