Stud, if we could potentially work something out I would be willing to deal Kinsler. I would consider taking Price and possibly your next two picks.

BTW, to all you guys picking, my Ichiro/Duchscherer offer still stands as long as my guy is still on the board (which he is).

i'll be here SETTerlund, also kaz that's an awfully steep price. the reason i took price was strictly b/c of his future. i was hoping u might be interested in ervin santana and one of my next picks

I think that we both know Price has a bright future and that being considered, I do have Kinsler. We can agree that he was the best 2B on the board. Price and the next two picks what do you think?

Stud, the Price deal is still on the table but it just seems like you want Kinsler and don't want to give much up for him...

Fifth Pick: J.J Hardy

The sixth will have to wait until tomorrow, these are big picks right here.

i told u id give u ervin santana (and picks) the man K's a batter per inning and is only 25 (26 in december) who's to say he wont be even better next year. maybe u dont think that highly of him, but i took price so early for the future, im not gonna deal him.

I've always found it weird that guys would draft someone before another guy that they value more highly. I mean, I agree, Price should be the best pitcher on that Tampa Bay staff for years, but then why take Santana first? Is it that you thought he'd be more in-demand?

i thought price would be a reach at that point, i still think he was a bit of a reach now but im not overly impressed w/the offensive players on the board so decided to take him

Ouch dude, with the disrespect. It's 25 rounds so these guys can fill out their full rosters. Check the first page of the thread for the order and such.

"Prospect" draft. This isn't the prospect draft.

So how many rounds is it going to be?

Whoop. Right you are Cobb. I keep getting flustered by the Sutterland thing. As we decided last year, the prospect draft will stay four rounds with each manager being allowed a maximum of 10 prospects. I think it would be impossible to decide which noob loses their picks via BG's trades, so I think when we decide the order, we'll go with thirteen picks each in the first two rounds, with Bleeding Green's first rounder (owned by Chach) being assigned as number 13 in the randomizer. I'll be glad to explain that idea more if it went in one ear and out the other for anyone. But yeah, prospect draft = four rounds and will be done close to spring training.

We should just have the prospect draft right after this draft, mostly to see who struggles the most without the aid of all the prospect lists that will be released between now and ST.
