How 'bout dem O's?

Ok, so basically, we should statistically be projected as the worst team in the MLB this season.

We're 2-1 this season and look to have decent balance on our roster. Any chance we surprise people and actually play a few good games this year? Maybe not being the worst team in the league?

I'm liking the bullpen so far.

Even with the HR, I am still less than enamored with Millar batting cleanup. Still, any lineup with Markakis and Roberts in it is dangerous, and if Mora and Ramon Hernandez get their groove back, this team could be much better than projected.

Still, having said that, with the current starting pitching rotation I foresee a long and crippling losing streak at some point during the season.

Unbelievable ... getting timely hitting from everyone.

Freakin' Luis Hernandez with the GW hit in the bottom of the 9th.

Still can't believe Seattle went to their bullpen in the 9th.

The O's get their first 4-0 series sweep since Texas in 2004, with a 4-0 sweep of the Mariners.

5-1's looking awful nice.

Amazing! 5 wins in a row, all come from behind.

Another game, another hero. This time Aubrey Huff hitting the go-ahead HR in the bottom of the 8th. Don't hear too many boos for Huff now like there was on opening day.

I think April can be a winning month for this team. Tampa Bay for 2 more series, a 4 game road series in Seattle, the White Sox for 2 series and of course the Yankees. They need to win the games against the soft teams in order to keep this up.

Yawn .... 6 in a row.

8-1 over the Rangers ... no comeback necessary for the first time this season.

Aubrey Huff on Fire! 4/4 4 RBIs

Luke Scott and Scott Moore with HRs.

Well, that win streak was nice while it lasted.

Let's see if we can get another one going tonight.

Nice win by the O's tonight. i love what payton is giving us of the bench. unfortunately for him with the way scott has been playing he's prob no closer to getting the starting job. Hopefully payton is able to keep this up and we are able to get some value for him around the trade deadline.( unless of course we make the post-season ). :D

O by the way did anyone else catch that throw by Markakis to gun Abreu out at the plate. The thing was thrown on a line and Ramon was able to catch it on the fly. Hopefully this is the year he cracks that crowded AL outfield in the all-star game.

Sweep the Yanks, and i would say this team has a good shot to keep it rollin.
