Good to see that we are carrying things over to the Marlins series.

Another great game in this four game winning streak. Chuck James had one of those good starts that Braves fan only wish came more often and it was really good to see Kelly Johnson have some success.

I wouldn't call Chuck's start "good."

More lucky than anything, but you can color me negative Nancy.

SWEEP.

I agree Chuck got in trouble way to many times early for it to be considered a good start he got out of the trouble but if we werent scoring would it of been the same story.

Im just glad were winning again and we need to keep it going because the Mets arent letting up, I never really considered Philly a threat and they are showing just that by not being able to pick up a game against the Mets. Im hoping they can get lucky and win a game today

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. We certainly haven't had much luck this year. Hopefully we play like we did last year around the All Star break (before and after). Only not drop off again.

Timmy should easily win tonight if he can continue his dominance over the Marlins. We normally hit Kim well so this should be an easy win tonight.

Go Braves

What a game. The big eighth inning followed by the struggle in the ninth. I really like what Willie Harris' speed brings to the top of the order. Sadly, speed has left the game, but when you have it, it makes scoring runs that much easier.

Also, Tyler Yates can be filthy at times. What a find for the Braves to sign him last year.

It's a shame Willie Harris came up so late. He could be competing for an All Star selection. He has been simply amazing this year. Harris/Diaz make up the best platoon in baseball no doubt. Too bad we have so much invested in Andruw, I'd like to have both of them in the outfield and in the lineup.

When we scored 5 in the 8th, I left to see a movie and I knew I'd come back and see us lose or almost lose somehow. Sucks to see Wickman touched up like that. Nice job by Yates, though.

I miss Gonzo, solid win though.

Nice to see Yates step up.

Could Andruw be any more of a momentum killer? Even games where he does something productive at the plate (monster HR) he turns out an equally pathetic play.

Yunel Escobar! I love this kid.

Please put Soriano in the game. He has the closer mentality.

Thats it, Im buying me an Escobar jersey! What an at bat, all those pitches he fought off.

What a come back!

Still should of bunted Druw, Im a firm believer. I dont care whos up at the plate, if your down a run in the late inning you gotta get that runner over to third

Our bullpen picked a bad day to finally choke. Would have been nice to have Gonzo closing in the 9th.

I am so pissed that we lost this game; I hate these kind of losses. Wickman blows it again, and we lost a game that we should have won.

Great at bat by Escobar though. That was veteran-esque.
