Anderson - 86 SO's in 65 AA innings this year. His walks are a little high though. Braves might be smart to not rush him, so he can work on his command, but the sky is the limit for him.

It's hard to choose between Pache and Waters. Waters seems to have an edge offensively, while Pache has an edge defensively - though Waters is also a CFer. It reminds me of when they had Albies and Swanson both coming up as shortstops. I'm guessing that when it comes time for promotions, they'll try to promote them together. At least, that's what I'd do. Keep them both happy as long as you can. I guess it's even possible that both will be given a shot to make Atlanta next year, because Riley will likely move back to 3B, and who knows if Markakis will be back. Realistically, I think they could both benefit from another year in the minors - as their SO totals are high. Also, I think Waters hasn't quite filled out and will get stronger and hopefully add some power.

It's hard to imagine him not being successful - even moreso than most of the Braves' top pitching prospects. I'm particularly looking at his decreasing walk ratio to go with the already terrific SO ratio. Not to mention he was the 3rd pick in the 2016 draft. I mean, he turned 21 less than 2 months ago, and he's a workhorse with already 72 innings in AA this year. He's struck out 93 while giving up 53 hits.

I'm excited about Ian Anderson. Man has serious ace potential.

Gotta pull for this guy - 32nd round pick, a real underdog, just keeps on hitting exceptionally well whereever they put him. I wouldn't bet against him being in Atlanta next year.

Drew Waters continues to get overlooked - his teammate - Pache - is rated a bit higher in the prospect rankings, and now that Langeliers is starting out so well, don't be surprised if he shoots ahead, but Waters is for real and then some, imo. Today, he reached base for his 30th consecutive game - bumping his hit streak to 18 games. At 20 years old, he's not only leading the Southern League in hitting with a .334 batting average, but he's 22 point ahead of 2nd place and 29 ahead of 3rd. And while you can point to him having only 5 homers, he leads the league by 7 with 25 doubles, by 2 with 8 triples, by 2 with 45 runs, by 18 with 154 total bases (Pache is 2nd), and by 15 with 98 hits. At some point, the doubles will turn into homers - that's natural for a 20 year old. Granted, he does have to cut down on his SO's and preferably increase his walks, but the Braves have something special with Waters.

I seriously can not wait for a Waters - LF Pache - CF Acuna - RF outfield!! Might see it next year. Hope it's our outfield for 10-12 years.

Yup, move Riley back to 3rd. Langeliers might be ready in 2022. Albies and Swanson will still be in their 20's. Freddie will be the only older player, and he looks like he'll play well into his 30's - like Chipper - who had his best offensive year at 36.

And someday we'll get a closer. 8-)
