Yeah my trade for Sale looks more horrible now, all 3 pitchers I had in the package, fell in our top 30.

Btw, MLB.com confirmed that Dimerrette would have been 9th on Texas' list if not for the trade.

Btw #2, Mauricio Cabrera should be significantly higher on the Braves list, imo.

And #3, how is AJ Minter not on the list?. He should be top 20 and could very well be the Braves closer by the end of next season.

And how is C Abraham Gutierrez not also?

Agreed - though because he's a 16 year old catcher, it could take 7 years or so in the minors before he plays in the bigs.

Oh wow, they also left off Derian Cruz and Christian Pache - which is crazy, imo. I guess they're just not including 18 year or younger players unless they're sure things.

I would also put Connor Lien in the top 30, but pretty much everyone underrates him.

If you're a GM, would you rather have Mauricio Cabrera or Aroldis Chapman?

Baseball America has their new top 100 list http://www.baseballamerica.com/minors/2017-top-100-prospects/#IIRlZu7CpTFJ8ckz.97 and there are 8 Braves - all of them actually in the top 78 - which is pretty amazing - though not surprising:
3 Swanson
11 Albies
37 Kolby Allard
48 Mike Soroka
66 Ian Anderson
67 Ronald Acuna
77 Kevin Maitan
78 Sean Newcomb

And really, the Braves have several others who maybe should have made the top 100: Christian Pache, Max Fried, Austin Riley, Patrick Weigel... and I'm probably missing several others.

Baseball America is also recognized as the best site when it comes to these top 100 prospect lists. Swanson is two at bats away from graduating out of the minors officially.

There's absolutely a cause for celebration but I'm disappointed that Sean Newcomb has fallen since his arrival here. He's still a good prospect but for Andrelton Simmons I was hoping that he would become an ace you could anchor your rotation around.

MLB.com rates the Braves farm system #1 in baseball. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/217383778/top-10-farm-systems-by-mlb-pipeline/

It'll be harder to stay there once Swanson and Albies are no longer considered prospects. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ronald Acuna jumping up to #1 on the Braves list at some point.

Swanson is gonna graduate on opening day, Albies due to his injury will probably stay a prospect into next year (due to his age and the Phillips signing, with would be smart to limit his ABs to make sure we don't cheaply lose a year of team control on him).

You mentioned Acuna, and along with him Maitan looks poised to shoot up the rankings.
