Mike Soroka was removed from his start Monday night against the Mets due to a serious-looking lower right leg injury.

Soroka buckled to the ground after pushing off the mound to cover first base on a J.D. Davis infield forceout in the top of the third inning. He didn't attempt to put any weight on his right leg as he was carried off the field. It looked like a possible Achilles tendon injury, but the Braves should soon provide more clarity on the situation. Soroka was ultimately charged with three earned runs on three hits and four walks over 2 1/3 innings.

Not good! The last thing we needed was to lose depth with the starting pitching.

Big City and Flow with solo HRs in the 2nd. 2-0 Braves end of 2nd.

Yesterday was a nice upper for the team. Great pitching and offense.

Braves needed a game like that. Real good to see Riley and Acuna getting multiple walks and hitting the ball well. Just need to get Albies going in that direction. Dansby... playing like an MVP candidate - hopefully I didn't jinx him. He's a streaky player - we just need a 60 game streak from him.

In his first game back, Nick Markakis is the hero!! His walk off HR in the 9th sealed the win for the Braves, 4-3. Snit nearly blew it, not letting Touki finishing the 7th, brought in Matzek, who allowed them the 1 run to tie it.

Touki's got a high ERA (relievers haven't helped him), but he's got a spectacular 20 SO's vs 4 walks in his 13.1 innings, so far. We'll see if he can get it done consistently.
