Waste of a first round pick....

Well, I think we'll be better served with another Lefty in the pen.

Their exactly the same, what their hoping for is that maybe a change of scenary for both guys will straighten them out.

I think Wil arm is a little stronger than McCay's.

This trade does sound like one of those, "trade your struggling pitcher for our struggling pitcher." I would have liked to see McBride get a little more time in Atlanta because he was good against lefties for the Braves. Should be interesting to see how fast Will can integrate himself into a surprisingly quality bullpen.

when I first heard about this trade I was saying the same thing all of you are. But from what I heard is Atlanta believes that this guy was in the wrong role. They believe he can be a starting pitcher instead of a reliever. They also believe his numbers would be a lot better as a starter instead of a reliever. So dont be suprised if we see him throw a few coming out of the pen and then trying to stick him in a starting role, especially with Carlyle not doing to hot right now
