Post#1 » by Celtics_Champs » Thu Feb 26, 2009 12:08 am

Well, it has been a quiet camp. But the games have started!

7-1 win against BC. Bards catching wake tonight against the twins.

Where's Remy? Who's this guy?

The biggest revelation so far, for me atleast, is Julio Lugo taking the 3rd person angle and running with it. Just when you thought this guy was at his peak hatability he comes up with this. Kudos to him.

He was doing some filling in for Remy for a couple of innings. I know he works for EEI. I think he manages a minor league team too, or something.

It is nice to see Boston give players like Dauber and Merloni some work.

Eh, they're all just warming the seat until Kevin Millar retires.

According to Sean McAdam of the Boston Herald, the Red Sox are not interested in bringing Pedro Martinez back to Boston. McAdam's sources say Pedro's representatives approached the Red Sox this week to determine interest and heard from the Red Sox that they don't have room for Pedro. Pedro, who won two Cy Youngs and a World Series in Boston, will pitch in the WBC for the Dominican Republic and hopes to attract interest with a good showing.
