ALDS: Sox vs Angels

Post#1 » by greenbeans » Wed Sep 30, 2009 9:08 pm

Should be good, like it usually is against these chumps.
They're no match and I'm already looking forward to the playing Yankees in the alcs.

We *should* win, but the Sox have been so uneven the last month, I wouldn't be shocked if we lost...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

I think they'll be fine, they really didn't bring out their best lineups either. The one thing I do worry about is the way Clay pitched his last two days.

I expect the Angels to choke up and get tight like they always do...Chone Figgins is a **** moron who will make at least 3 bonehead plays in this series...I'm saying the Sox either get swept or win in 5...no inbetween, that's just my feeling...

Pitching duel so far. Lesters got some balls on him to get out of that 3rd.

Real glad I stayed up for that performance. Got to bring the bats if you expect to win. Really need Beckett to step up tonight.

And on a separate note, the first base up should be fined and sent home. 3 bad calls in one game? Give me a break.

I expected to lose one of these games in Anaheim. Just split them here and take care of business at home and we should be fine.

I had a really good feeling this was going to happen. This team was way to reminiscent of 2005, and they better do something this offseason. And I mean something better than last years failure. Varitek needs to be gone. They need a better shortstop. They need to re-sign Bay and stop getting these dinosaur reclamation projects for pitchers.
