What's the most you'd give Beckett?

Now that we have Lackey coming in with a boatload of money, we can be almost be sure Josh is going to try and get every penny possible. What's the extent you'd go with him if you were Theo?

I'd go just about what Lackey got, 5/85ish. Probably even a couple more million just because he has seniority, and I'm sure that'd get him all warm and fuzzy. Do you think he'd accept? Or is he destined for a mega-contract with the Dodgers, Mets, Yankees etc?

Lackey this offseason was 31, with a 102-71w/l, 3.81 era and 1,501 innings pitched.
Beckett next year will be 30, and his numbers to date are 106-68w/l, 3.79 era and 1,401 innings pitched.

I'd give Beckett slightly more than Lackey. Two million per year perhaps, more than that I'm letting him walk.

I'd agree with this. 2 million more is the max though.

I don't want to give him more than 4 years, I know that.

I'm going with this 3 years 15 million per. (so it'd be 3 years/45) I doubt he accepts that though.
Does anyone actually believe that either Mike Brown or Doc Rivers have done any coaching during the series, or in their undistinguished careers?
