^^ Seriously.

I was all on his bandwagon at first. But ever since the trade rumors stopped, he has sucked hard.

Tim McCarver disgusts me. He's stroking Jeter off at an appalling rate while on the air. Keep it in your pants guy.

At least Joe Buck is missing for whatever reason.

hahah at the Jeter thing. I was at my buddy's place and all his dad was complaining about was the Jeter love. We were winning 14-1 and McCarver would not stop stroking the Yankees and Jeter's dick.

Great win tonight. This 2 out hitting is ridiculous. Hopefully we can sweep up the white sox. division is 6, and its not unreasonable to expect to still have a run left in us if we are only down 4 or 5 going into september.

I got nervous there when Okie was pitching, but he did a fair job to get out of that inning.

I heart Victah. The guy is a beast. A lock to get an RBI when you're in need. But have to give tek credit for starting that 1 out rally.

Besides that 1 runner, Pap had a sweat free inning.

Great win.

oh and Ellsbury

Bay needs to make that catch in the 9th, that was just ugly.

Bay is just not a good fielder at all. I'd honestly say Manny was a better fielder all things considered. For all the **** he got, he played the wall very, very well and racked up a decent amount of assists thanks to his quick release.

Manny was an average to below average fielder, who knew how to play the wall.
Jbay is an average fielder who doesn't know how to play the wall yet.

a SWEEP would be huge... and a yankees loss could get this to 5.

we still got a month left in the season. I, unlike many sox fans, have NOT given up on the division.

Yankees made their run, and are chugging along quite nicely, I think it's time for us to make ours. We have Toronto coming up for 3 games to finish the homestand and we really need to take that because we are off to Tampa after that... which has been an absolute house of horrors the last couple years.

Anyone watching this? We are down 9-4, but the real news here is that for no reason whatsoever, Nick Green came in the game in the 8th to pitch. He threw all fastballs except one terrible slider. Somehow, he got 3 outs, no hits and surrendered just a walk. Looks like Tito is going to send him out there for the ninth too.

2 hitless innings for Nick Green! Twice there were comebackers that he easily speared, but then got rid of them so quickly that Kotchman wasn't even on the bag yet. lol. You're not playing SS Nick! you gotta wait till the first baseman gets to the bag!

Yeah that was awesome. Took the dull out of this game. Too bad others couldn't follow what drew did, it would have been quite the story.

Yeah, it looked like they could have comeback, but the lead was just too insurmountable. If Tazawa didn't suck so bad there could have been more energy in the tank for one.

Ha, red sox acquired Joey Gathright.

Paul Byrd took on Roy Halladay and got the win 7-0. I would absolutely LOVE to see more of that.

That was a gutsy start. We really needed something like that. I wouldn't expect that consistently from Byrd, but kudos for him.
