Will we ever see a healthy Big Papi again?

David Ortiz performance last year was a huge part of the problem. If He could bounce back, I dont think many people will be wishing we paid Teixera. I know he has had a lot of injuries lately. But was it just an unlucky string of injuries or is he breaking down??

Given his age and size, it may just be the fact that he's just not what he used to be as a player. However he should be able to have a solid off season work out program this year which he couldn't do last season. Hopefully with that he can get his body strong and ready for the season. I do however have some concerns with the WBC, assuming that he does play for DR.

Were he a position player I'd be more worried, but since he's basically a professional hitter and doesn't take a lot of wear and tear day to day, I think he'll be OK...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!
